In Town View

Wonderful weekend.

Pros: Very spacious and well maintained. Although we were only visiting for the weekend we would have been very comfortable for a weeks holiday. The town, the promenade, numerous bars and restaurants were a short walk away. It is on an incline which wasn’t a problem for us but the elderly or infirm may want to use taxis to get around. The view from the living area was stunning.

We wanted a one night stay for family members in central Funchal. In Town View ticked all our boxes.

Pros: Location was excellent for Central Funchal. Easy access to the restaurants and bars we had scheduled to visit Excellent check-in. Very comfortable rooms.

Cons: We booked 4 rooms, 2 had small balconies. 2 had 'wall' views. The 'wall views' would have been more of an issue had we had a longer stay booked.

Nice area, shopping and attractions, nice apartment but pool area/facilities need urgent attention

Pros: Very spacious apartment. Plenty equipment. Comfortable beds

Cons: The pool area was not particularly inviting. The sunbeds were frankly atrocious. Very, very old, very stained and very uncomfortable and no shade umbrellas' were provided. A rooftop pool was mentioned but if there was one, we couldn't find it despite looking?

Pros: excellent property and casino is next to this property with lot of good restaurants, property is posh property and a must to rent if in Funchal

Cons: Keys handover took some time

We had a great short stay in this apartment which had everything we needed.

Pros: The size and location of the property was fantastic and super central.

Cons: Nothing ☺️

Central Location

Pros: The location was fantastic , all within walking distance to the harbour , restaurants and shops

Pros: Вид з вікна був неймовірно гарний! Просторі апартаменти, окремі кімнати з санвузлами. Дуже зручно і комфортно. Розташування зручне, до центра пішки 7-10 хвилин

Cons: Назад піднімались вгору, але це компенсація за красивий вид з вікна.

Pros: Apartamento fantástico em termos de tamanho e comodidades e localização.

Cons: Alguma falta de luz já cozinha e wc

This place is very nice and has the potential for being excellent with a few adjustments.

Pros: Excellent location. All bedrooms and living room were large. Security was excellent. Two balconies. Staff responded quickly to complaints about lack of cleanliness, lack of garbage bags. Fair amount of cooking materials. Nice pool.

Cons: All rugs were dirty or stained. Knives were too dull to cut with,. Second sink stopped up and light bulb hanging from the ceiling in back bedroom, Description in Booking.com said pool was roof top, but it is not. No information guide about operating appliances, recycling, emergency services, or any local information about grocery shopping or tips for restaurants. No air air conditioning or fans.
