Pros: The space was clena and well organised. Spacious and all the necessary was there. The bed was really comfortable, and the location was good. Lots of places around like restaurants and grocery shops. But also acces to the sea was easy too. Plus the garage if you rent a car was a good.

Cons: Some bits of furniture like in the bathroom we're ruined because of water but it was clean. It is just the quality.

Lovely apartment

Pros: - good location - huge, so much room. The bedrooms were lovely. - next to good restaurants and shops

Cons: - pool was not in use and we wasn’t told until we arrived. We paid for a property with a pool for a reason. So was very disappointed. - construction work going on next door every day including weekend. As a young group of girls this was very uncomfortable for us. The guys on site kept looking at us on the balcony and making rude comments and sounds

Comfortable and well located.

Pros: Very well located. Easy walk into Funchal and easy to take the bus. The owner was very responsive when we reported that the swimming pool was closed.

Cons: We would have appreciated a manual to tell us how to use the kitchen appliances.

Everything was perfectly organized during check-in and check-out.

Pros: A very convenient location, there is an underground parking, a swimming pool in the morning and evening was very useful.

Pros: The apartment is located in a quiet street. Shops and restaurants are only a few hundred meters away. The apartment is huge and equipped with all household appliances. The underground garage is of course a bonus if you rent a car. The host waited for us in front of the house despite the late hour and showed us everything. Everything was perfect.

Pros: Convenient location. The staff is very nice, they helped with all questions. There are all the necessary conditions for living and cooking. Beautiful tableware. Owner of the apartment cares about his guests, there was coffee, tea, cookies for the first time. A private place for the car. Nice swimming pool.

Cons: There was a construction site nearby, and every morning there was a loud noise.

Pros: The apartment's location is great, near to shops, restaurants, buses, an easy 25 minute walk into the centre of Funchal. The apartment is modern, spacious and very comfortable.

Fabulous - would definitely like to stay again.

Pros: Great location - bus stops close, easy walk to Funchal. Good snack bars and restaurants - great variety. Large well-stocked supermarket close by. Lovely modern apartment with sea glimpses from the veranda.

Cons: Privacy blinds in two main bedrooms were broken and not working.

Light and comfortable apartment in a good location

Pros: Well equipped and very clean. Modern and comfortable furniture in a well designed space. Air-con in all rooms. Lovely pool area, quiet most of the time, with good views out to sea. Excellent location with lots of restaurant choice within easy walking distance and only about 20 minutes walk into centre of Funchal.

Cons: Terrace / patio furniture limited. Larger terrace has no furniture, uninteresting view and at eye-level to nearby road. Smaller patio only has space for small table and 2 chairs. Window shutters to 2 of the 3 bedrooms had failed closed. Brought to our attention when we arrived and explained that it was as the result of previous occupants ‘playing’ with the mechanism. Not repaired during our stay although we were there for 12 nights. There is no free parking, but parking cheap at a max of about 5 euros a day.
