Casa dos Avós by Rent2U

Lovely spacious clean apartment in great location

Pros: Lovely spacious apartment in a great location. 3 bedrooms rather than two as indicated on the website. Very clean with comfortable beds. Two excellent balconies, but we went with friends and larger (with table) was off their room, and didn't feel right to go via their bedroom. Balcony off living room was big enough for four although a small table would have been nice. Great kitchen and much appreciated welcome pack.

Pros: Very well located, lots of space, all the amenities you need.

Cons: The pillows were too soft, but that is a personal preference

This was my ideal apartment and my stay was excellent and the best apartment I have ever stayed in

Pros: The spaciousness, the balconies back and front and the central location and quietness

Very enjoyable and problem free. Excellent range of facilities.

Pros: Very spacious apartment near centre of town but quiet. 2 excellent balconies/verandahs. Stayed for a month and would have liked to book again. Met on time by lady in charge and shown over the apartment. It was ideal for me and I cannot find any fault.

Cons: Lift was a little bit noisy

Fabulous

Pros: Exceptionally well equipped , lovely outside terraces with great views, plenty of space of 4 people. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water if required. The extra goodies ( tea/coffee/biscuits/Madeira/ fruit etc) left for us were very well appreciated Very well located not far from the old town. Lift access so no need to walk up stairs. Parking available of needed nearby. Last but not least, the wonderful people who look after this apartment , who go over and above to be helpful and made this place special. Would happily stay here again if visiting Funchal.

Cons: We couldn't locate the bread/ chopping board but it didn't spoil our holiday.

Thanks for good holidays 👌

Pros: Thanks a lot for so good flat. There are 3 bedrooms plus sitting room. 2 terrace. Eating room and kitchen. 2 bathrooms. Very friendly Fatima showed for us all. Really recommend 👌

Excellent apartment in central Funchal.

Pros: Fantastic, large 3 bedroom apartment in the centre of Funchal. Large living area and patio area with a kitchen well set up. One ensuite plus another separate bathroom. We really enjoyed staying here.

I would certainly book this apartment again if I travelled to Madeira with my dad again.

Pros: It is a great location - one street up from the Praca Municipal. There are various small shops around, and various supermarkets are within a 10 minute walk. The bus terminal is 15 minutes walk away, buses to Monte 5 minutes walk away, bus for airport 10 minutes walk away. We enjoyed having the outside space to enjoy the sunshine. There is a lovely sense of space in the apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Welcome pack was far more than expected and Garry himself was very pleasant and perfect in his communication the day before arrival and day of arrival itself.

We had a lovely stay. Host was very nice and friendly. The apartment was spacious and well equipped

Pros: Perfect location with a parking space. Gift basket was a lovely suprise. Apartment was very big with two terraces.

Cons: Unfortunately we had some ants.

Great location and very quiet. Good value for money.

Pros: Location was excellent. Very quiet even though it was central.

Cons: Sofas and outdoor chairs. Outdoor chairs need replacing and modular sofa was 2 x 2 seater in two parts with no ends - not comfortable and would struggle to accommodate more than 4 persons.
