Cons: There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom Could feel every movement when sharing the mattress A fan for the bedroom would have been welcome, the air conditioning was only in the living room Shower could have done with a shelf A microwave would have made a great addition

Excellent stay in a comfortable apartment right in the city center, with free parking, a lovely view, and a very respons

Pros: I truly appreciated my stay in this apartment. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. Having free parking was a big plus and made the stay very easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The view was also very nice and added something special to the experience. I especially appreciated the communication with the apartment manager. He was always available and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Cons: living room has no windows, hence if the living room door is closed to the bedroom, there is no day light - It didn't seem obvious to us when we booked. Not a major issue, but important to know.

Excellent base for stay in Madeira in convenient location for exploring the island, and also around the city

Pros: Location was perfect, having stayed out in Lido in a hotel previously, this was perfectly located for restaurants, near the Old Town, supermarkets etc. the view was great to watch all the boats come in and out. Room was airy, comfortable and had everything we need. Parking was underground, secure, and had easy access to go either west, east or north from Funchal.

Cons: Needed a few more cooking items, crockery, as others had noticed. We took to Funchal, penknife, washing tablets (for washing machine - which we used), rubber gloves, wash8ng up liquid and a silicone spatula… I cooked porridge in a frying pan every morning, as there was not a smell pan. There was a kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker, and 2 electric hobs.

Pros: Alonso made it really easy for us to find the apartment with all the info he shared. The place was clean and tidy, and the view over the city and ocean was amazing. Having a parking spot right under the building was super handy too.

Cons: We would have appreciated having shampoo and soap in the shower and coffee as well.

Pros: Great location near the Funchal city center, with great underground parking. The apartment was clean, the equipment was good if you are out for the whole day.

Pros: The location was superb, Alonso was a fantastic host, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make things work for our 48 hour stay in Funchal.

Cons: I wish there was air conditioning in the main bedroom room besides from the living room. The sofa bed could be a little comfier with free blankets and pillows provided. Alas, still a lovely stay.
