Perfect as long stay base camp for your trip

Pros: The best stay I had on Madeira. It is actually an apartment with everything you'd expect to have in an apartment. If I knew it existed I would book it for a longer period to use as a base for my journeys. The hosts are very proactive and give very detailed instructions on check in. The location in Funchal is perfect. It is in the central part, but on a quiet inner street, I could easily sleep with open windows. Pingo doce and Continente are two minutes by foot.

Pros: The studio has a fantastic location, very close to major attractions and easy to get around. The owner is extremely nice, friendly, and always helpful. A wonderful place to stay

Pros: Our stay at Studio Carmo was lovely! It is in a new building, was cozy, spotlessly clean, and both the owner and the manager were friendly and available for us at any moment. The apartment's location is just amazing, central, with everything reachable by foot, but still very quiet and peaceful at night. The apartment has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, and additionally, an amazing garage with a dedicated parking spot, which is a perfect gem in the center of Funchal. I would recommend a stay at Studio Carmo anytime!

Pros: In terms of location, the apartment is located right in the city center of Funchal. A short walk from two large supermarkets, main streets, shops and restaurants. All our communication was done remotely and via WhatsApp but it was excellent, the response was quick and courteous. They constantly asked how we were and took care of us. The owners and people familiar with the apartment served us excellently, the kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was comfortable, the TV and the washing machine. At first we were worried because there were few reviews for the place but it is just a new place and it is simply excellent!!

Cons: The apartment is a bit stuffy and closed off and sometimes you hear noises from the street and the parking lot. There's really nothing you can do about it.

Pros: The amenities. Especially the coffee machine! Also the parking was a great one, cause the apartment is at the center of Funchal and I didn’t grace to search for a parking spot.

Pros: Super nice and modern accommodation in the absolute centre of Funchal. The location is really perfect. The fact that you have your own private parking in garage is awesome. The apartment is well equipped, the AC is great when it's really humid outside. It is also quite calm because the windows are situated in a narrow corridor between buildings behind a private gate. It's a comfortable place to sleep and recharge for your Madeira or Funchal adventures.

Cons: Due to the location of the apartment in the narrow corridor there isn't much of a view from the windows. Also we would welcome later check out or a possibility to store luggage after checkout before our flight, but that's not a real problem of the accommodation since everything is stated up front clearly. We used lockers in the city instead later and that worked great for us.

Fantastic stay!

Pros: The location was fantastic ideally situated for exploring Funchal. Right in the middle of old town close to all of the bars and restaurants, but perfectly quiet in the evenings! Has everything you need in the apartment a fully kitted out kitchen, and even had ironing board when I needed one! The apartment is quite large. Bathroom is massive and suited my needs perfect. Great communication from the host and the property manager throughout with detailed videos showing me how to use everything and where to find everything 🤩
