Terrace in Carmo

Perfect and calm location in the old-town.

Pros: We went there in the end of December / beginning of January, and since we had a storm in Madeira, it was an added plus that there was proper heating in the apartment. The location is suberb, everything is accessible by foot. Cheap supermarket (Pingo Doce) is nearby.

Highly recommended!

Pros: It was a great value for the price paid - appartment is ideally situated, offers save parking facility in the underground parking (a big advantage in a centre of Funchal!). Meanwhile, the appartment is well equipped - we didnt have a chance tu use the kitchen, but it surely had all necessary facilities. A small balcony was also very nice for a morning coffee and to dry some towels ;) Communicattion with the owner was very smooth - she was very kind and helpful. Check-in procedure was also smooth and clear: just a key pick-up in a nearby location. Overall, very good experience and we highly recommend the place!

Cons: A very minor issue was that ventilation in the bathroom was not working well, so it felt that humidity remains - it is a new building so there is no serious issue at the moment (NO signs of any mold or so), just one needs to keep door open to better ventilate the room and avoid smells. The owner, however, is looking into it, so likely you wont even notice this ;)

Great location, great amenities and accommodating host, makes for a great holiday!

Pros: Great location and the host was very accommodating allowing us to check out late which was an incredible benefit since it allowed us to have spot for the car to be parked while we explored Funchal for one last day before our evening flight home

Loved being there and happy I chose this place to complement the beauty of Madeira.

Pros: I liked the location, plus the simplicity and minimalistic feel of the apartment. Most importantly, comfy king-size bed and everything was squeaky clean. For me this is what matters most.

Cons: The shower was leaking but informed the owner right away and they took immediate action.

Pros: It was a very good location and easy go to nearby restaurants, cafes, and attractions.

Cons: Not far of I know, but inside the apartment has smell of smoking. That needs to bit improve to reduce the smells. In overall, the apartment is nice.
