Funchal is a lovely location busy lively restaurants and lots of activities throughout our stay. We will probably return

Pros: Lovely open plan property in a perfect location. Very clean and comfortable.

Cons: We did like everything the property had although we felt the kitchen could be improved with a knife block and set of sharp knives.

We loved Funchal and the flat

Pros: Our host was very friendly and helpful. She met us on arrival and arranged a taxi to take us to the airport when we left. The flat was stylishly decorated, spacious, clean, airy and light. The beds and sofa were comfortable. Excellent location for discovering Funchal. The top floor location provides privacy and some good views. There's an excellent supermarket nearby. Overall the flat is surprisingly quiet, considering its central location.

Cons: We could hear some street noise and the opening and closing of the security gate at night. A few more kitchen utensils and a little more storage space would have been great, but not a major issue.

Wonderful

Pros: Wonderful, modern, comfortable and clean. Great location for exploring on foot. Friendly and helpful hosts. Perfect for our stay in Funchal!

Cons: There was only enough coffee for 1 day, the washing machine was great but there was no rack to dry clothing. This was not a real problem though!

The perfect apartment and the perfect host

Pros: Brand new apartment equipped with everything you could wish for, plus lots of extras. Nicest host, always available and responsive, and with plenty of tips. Great location, just a short walk from everywhere in Funchal, plus the parking.

Pros: Absolute calm, lots of space and light in this apartment-house on the roof. Very close to the SÉ Cathedral, it is also 3 minutes walking distance from the historic part of the town, the picturesque « Mercado de Lavradores » and everything in fact … I have already rented in Madeira, and most often the apartments located in the center are noisy and dark, this one is the exception, not overlooked, pretty decoration bright, nothing is missing. To recommend .

Pros: El apartamento de dos habitaciones es perfecto. Limpio y bien equipado. El edificio está en el centro, a un minuto de todo. Soleado, con vistas, camas cómodas.

Cons: El párquing está nuevo y bien iluminado pero para entrar tienes que hacer alguna maniobra.
