Large apartment with good views,

Pros: Location was good, There is a little cafe opposite which makes a beautiful espresso ( and we are serious about our coffees) and good people running it;

Cons: You need to be a hill-walker because it is up a steep hill or use a taxi. We are in our 80's btw so any reasonably fit person can do it. The cafe opposite can be noisy, but this manageable by using the double paned windows.

Central apartment with amazing view

Pros: Amazing big apartment with stunning view from the balcony. All facilities were there and private parking spot was so so handy.

Cons: We believe they forgot to vacuum clean upon our arrival & it was a bit difficult to figure out the parking situation.

Great non-touristy location, very comfy double bed, nice terrace with the view on the city

Pros: Clean, modern flat with some cute antique furniture. Very nice and spacious bathroom, more than enough towels for each guests. The apartment has a washing machine and the host even left some washing powder! Well equipped kitchen if you want to cook. A very nice balcony and very comfy double bed. The apartment is located not so central but for us it was ideal because it was quite and non touristy with walking distance to all restaurants and tourist attractions. Highly recommended👌🏻

Cons: We liked everything. Maybe to note for some people - an apartment is located on the hill so you'll need to climb some stairs every day. But it's perfect way to burn some extra kcal from delicious Madeira food.

Pros: Ideal location and complete wilth all the essentials to make a home away from home during a trip

Well equipped apartment

Pros: Apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay and suitably equipped to cook an evening meal. Lovely terrace with fantastic views. The owner's mother lives across the way and provided friendly assistance when needed as well as some wonderful homemade bread.

Cons: Streets are narrow and cars are parked terribly, so very hard to negotiate, especially some days getting out of the garage because of parking opposite. Also, road very difficult to find the first time especially arriving in the dark. Also note, the control for the garage door is inside the apartment (would have been better to have known this before arrival). There is a cafe opposite and the owner likes to hold court, usually between 0700 & 2200, not too bad if you keep the windows closed but no air con. Finally, whilst not a particular problem for us as we are fit, great views mean you are high up. It is only 10-15 minute walk to the seafront but on the way back it is very steep.

I will definitely book it again! We left beach umbrella-maybe it will be useful for the next hosts💗

Pros: Świetna lokalizacja, słoneczny taras z pięknym widokiem, fajne wnętrze, czysto

Cons: Lekki hałas z ulicy, gdy otworzyło sie okno w sypialni albo kuchni, ale tak to już jest blisko centrum

Pros: Gute Lage mit ein bisschen Anstieg. Sehenswürdigkeiten in direkter Umgebung. Kleines Café direkt gegenüber für den ersten Kaffee und die Frühstücksbrötchen.

Cons: Um die schöne Terrasse noch mehr genießen zu können, fehlen Sonnenliegen. Man muss gut zu Fuß sein, da öffentliche Verkehrsmittel etwas weiter weg sind.

Bien placé pour la visite de la ville

Pros: Bon emplacement pour visiter la ville, garage sur place très pratique. Appartement bien équipé avec cuisine bien fonctionnelle. Jolie petite terrasse. Confortable et propre.
