A Perfect Gem.

The bed was so comfortable. !! It is situated in a perfect location in a very Quiet street. A short walk to lovely gardens and many bars, and Restaurants. The esplanade is very close and a nice walk to the old town and farmers market. Paulo our host was very helpful and informative and helped us by booking our transfers from the airport and to Santana. We certainly would stay here again and definitely recommend it to all our friends.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

I am satisfied, possibly I will stay there next time

Pros: Exellent location in the city center, close to shopping center, public transport, ocean, evening street entertiments, but at the same time after 11pm it become silent.

Cons: No air conditioner

Brilliant stay in the perfect location to explore Funchal

Pros: Great quiet location with cafes, restaurants within walking distance yet no noise. A shopping mall nearby and a park, with the main road directly across the street within a minute, and the port is nearby and the sea. This apartment is perfect for a peaceful stay and easy checkin, with just a few rooms.

Cons: Nothing to not like, the host even allowed a late checkout.

4 nights

Pros: Central town centre, supermarket 1 minute walk. Various coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

Cons: None

Pros: Location is amazing, right in the heart of funchal, you can't get a better location especially if you don't have a car.. buses are literally at your door step, and will take you everywhere also taxis stands . Room was spacious and we had an outdoor area with table and chairs and clothes drying facilities.

Cons: We knew all this, but if your booking, just be mindful, there are steps to your room. There is no lift. So if your elderly or have big bag luggage you may need assistance. Also no air-conditioning, but fans are supplied. We did know this prior to booking, and we would still book again, location is just the best for a stay in Funchal, its all there around you

Would recommend, very nice accomodation, great communication with the host.

Pros: Very nice apartment. It had everything you may need - pots, pans, dishes, huge tv, balcony, hair dryer, AC,...Located in the very heart of Funchal - there is a huge mall right next to it, and also a huge parking house is like 3 minutes away. The communication with the host was exceptional.

Cons: The only downside were the ants and mosquitoes, but that is very hard to prevent anywhere.

No hassle and great location

Pros: Paulo was extremely helpful. There was a binder with local knowledge and recommendation which is a brilliant start point for any tourist. He checked in mid week Cleaning happened twice in the week with notice. Excellent standards

Lovely apartment in the centre of Funchal

Pros: The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s in a very central location in Funchal and it was easy for us to walk around and take public transport. I would say it’s a good base for hiking and other activities around the island. Paulo’s an amazing host and always available to answer any questions. He helped us book a taxi back to the airport for a very early flight.

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect :)
