Apartments Vista Oceano

Pros: The property is located 20 minutes from the airport, close to the highway, which is very convenient. The owners are very nice people who help in every way.

Pros: Vere lovely place with garden and a lot of sunspots. The owner will do everything for you and to make your stay comfortable. This is the best place to stay at Madeira. The appartment was perfect and has all you need. Lovely small pool. A short walk from city center and if you have a rental car there are always free parking spaces nearby. Will defently stay there again.

Pros: Excellent apartment! Very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's a bus stop and grocery store nearby. The villa is very beautiful, with a pool and ocean views. The owners are very polite and pleasant. It was an unforgettable vacation! I definitely recommend it 👍

A lovely tranquil stay

Pros: Apartment was spacious and clean. The hosts, Ian & his wife couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Ian lent us his personal fan as we found the apartment hot, he gave us a lift to our next accomodation. Lovely little garden with a wonderful view. Nice little pool. We would definitely stay again.

Cons: Given that we are elderly the location, about 20-25 minutes walk down steep hill into Funchal centre was not ideal. We did take the bus back up! There are no restaurants nearby and only a small supermarket. Therefore, for us, when we stay again we will need to hire a car, there is off- street parking nearby. For me personally the beds were too soft.

A great place to relax even has an honesty bar Very. Highly recommended.

Pros: The friendliness of the owners made us so relaxed. My top was stained on the journey there and was washed and pressed for me. We were picked up at the airport. Ian was a perfect host.

Great accomodation and views. Staff welcoming and accomodating. Really enjoyed it.

Pros: Very welcoming family business. Apartments large and comfortable straight onto garden and pool. Everything well maintained and cared for.

Cons: Was a struggle to walk into town busy roads no footpaths. Ubers were cheap though and plentiful took any hassle out

Pros: Waking up in the morning to an absolutely stunning view of Funchal, sitting on the balcony in the sun was brilliant. Supermarket was close by, and it was cheap. Also Magui's, a really cheap place for a very nice coffee, cakes, a beer and a local meals. Great service and well worth a visit.

Cons: The hills, but pretty much all of Funchal is built on hills. The plus side, buses are cheap as are the taxis

Pros: Lovely apartment - set in gardens with a pool. Large balcony with superb views down to Funchal and the sea. Ian and Maria were friendly and helpful hosts- Ian even taking us to the airport at 4 am. Walk down was 20 mins, with bus or Uber to get back up the hill. Apartment was well equipped, including powerful shower. Honesty bar to grab a beer from was a nice touch.

Loved every minute of it! We'll be back!

Pros: Fantastic apartment with beautiful view. Easy access for local buses. The owner Ian and his wife could not have been more helpful and friendly (Ian even drove us to the airport when we checked out!). Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Very nice appartement with lovely garden and swimming pool. Ian and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The location is a 20 mins walk to downtown Funchal, which is a nice walk and always down. Uber back will cost ~€5.

Cons: If anything, the appartement was quite warm at nights.
