Funchal Old Town Bay View 3.1

Pros: Place is exactly as described, comfortable and spacious. Nice balcony with morning sun. We were there during carnival, and yes, it was loud with all the parades and such as some people noted here,but even then the noise stopped at about midnight to 1. The second bedroom by the way is super quiet all evening. Garage in the building was also a great plus. The apartment is located in a bigger apartment building, so make sure to be there at the agreed time to meet Tatiana in front of the building. Tatiana was very helpful and responsive, a little problem which we had with the drainage was solved the same day.

Cons: Nothing to complain

Pros: The location was excellent, apartment had great facilities. The host was lovely!

Cons: The only thing was it was a bit dark at night time getting in & out of the property. There were lights but you had to press them on.

Location Location

Pros: It's a big, beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. It has a good size balcony with a beautiful view. The kitchen has everything you need. The location is amazing, parking is a huge bonus.

Cons: The town is noisy, and we definitely should have brought earplugs. The shower has difficulty regulating temperature, and they expect you to buy toilet paper.

Pros: Very beautiful apartment close to the beach, street with restaurants, supermarket and market. I was impressed as apartment looks like on photos, a lot of space, very clean, good aircondition. Kitchen all equipped, apartment had all that we required. Super balcony with good view on the red roofs and sea. When I will be back to Funchal it will be definatly this apartment again. Communication with host was very pleasant. I really recommend to stay there.

Pros: Lovely clean/modern/spacious apartment. The kitchen has just about everything you could want, even down to providing lunch boxes for pack-ups, a very nice thought and the coffee machine was a big hit The location is fabulous, only a few meters from the sea, and the restaurants. There is a dedicated/wide/secure underground parking space for a car. Nice balcony for having breakfast. One inexpensive addition that we have much enjoyed at another apartment, would be a water/filter jug that fits in the fridge door so you have cold water on demand.

Cons: Conversely the location! Being so close to the bars etc, it's noisy into the early hours on a Friday/Saturday night. Though shutting the windows and putting the fan on, does much to lessen the impact and we were able to sleep. A single bathroom/toilet was a bit of a pain with three of us and would be more so with four guests. Balcony quite small and east facing. Nice for breakfast but no sun after that.

Pros: The property was perfect. it was spacious, clean, easy to get to, had amazing facilities, and the location was amazing. the host was extremely helpful, especially with booking transfers. i can not fault this apartment and will be returning!

Pros: Espaço da varanda e ter lugar de garagem. A cozinha estava totalmente equipada, o que é bastante vantajoso. Localização muito boa.

Cons: O autoclismo ficava a fazer barulho por muito tempo e a água do chuveiro demorava algum tempo a aquecer. São das poucas coisas que temos a apontar, apesar de não muito importantes, mas que talvez possam ser melhoradas, tornando assim a habitação ainda melhor.
