Portugal 🇵🇹

Great location and views, but noisy and no real AC

Pros: I loved the location. It’s so close to everything, which made getting around really convenient. The house itself is comfortable and has everything you need for daily life. On top of that, the view is amazing!

Cons: There’s no built-in air conditioning, only a portable unit, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here during very hot months. The area can also be a bit noisy, so if you’re very sensitive to sound, this might not be the best fit. During our stay, there were construction works in the building next door starting at 8 a.m. on weekdays, which made mornings quite loud.

Pros: Very clean and well equipped! The appartement is on walking distance of the old town. I parked my car everyday at R. Jaime Moniz, which is nearby.

Great apartment stay

Pros: Great location in old town, close to transport, restaurants, main attractions. Everything you need in a self catering apartment, including toilet rolls, shower gel, etc. Clean and very comfy bed.

Cons: Nothing I didn't like, but would be perfection if there was a balcony to sit on.

Nice place, worth the money would choose it again.

Pros: The location is very close to the city centre and plenty of restaurants near by, easy access to all of them. A very beautiful view from the bedroom window.

Cons: A few mouldy spots in the bedroom and bathroom. Would recommend to spray a bit of bleach from time to time to prevent it, plus it is not very healthy to have it in the house anyway and a dehumidifier would be welcomed.

Pros: I had a fantastic stay at Casa das Rosas! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Funchal, with plenty of nearby parking. It’s within easy walking distance to the promenade and a variety of excellent restaurants. The apartment had all the amenities I needed, including a washer, iron, coffee machine, and hairdryer, making my stay very comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive, addressing any issues or concerns with urgency. I highly recommend Casa das Rosas for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Funchal!
