Pretas Village Flats

Don’t hesitate to book!

Pros: We had the top floor two bedroom flat with the balcony. It was much much larger than I expected. Luis is very helpful and always available by WhatsApp. There was oil, vinegar, salt, two teabags, two coffee pods and two clothes washing pods on arrival. Super location, 5 mins walk to the front.

Cons: A clothes drying rack would have been helpful but we managed without.

Perfect location, clean comfortable place, very easy access.

Pros: No key, but with door code you can get in. Good location, restaurant, small shop was very close. We enjoyed our stay!

Loved the convenience and standard of the accommodation. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others .

Pros: Spotlessly clean, central location for old town, easy check in and wonderful host Luis.

Cons: Knit picking but lack of view, would benefit from an ironing board and a few extra clothes hangers aswell. overall a very positive experience and would definitely return.

Superb is the only word to describe this apartment

Pros: We loved the area being so close to the city centre. We loved the peace and quiet. The beds wisp comfortable and the shower was fabulous

Cons: The door to the bedroom upstairs we couldn’t close. Apart from that everything was great

Excellent apartment

Pros: This was a lovely, clean apartment in the centre of Funchal. It is in easy walking distance of shops, lovely cafés and restaurants. (Try Petit Caju for delicious breakfast/lunch.) It's also only a few minutes walk from the promenade and very close to bus stops. (The stop for the aerobus to and from the airport is a 5 minute walk away and only cost €6.50 each way) I loved the large windows in the apartment, which opened onto the balcony and looked onto the quiet street. I stayed on my own here and felt very safe. I had everything I needed for my week long stay. The host sent me trip and dining recommendations before I travelled, which was helpful. Access to the property was via a code and was easy. There is a lift if needed for getting luggage upstairs and down.

Cons: A warmer lamp next to the bed would be nice.

Great location

Pros: Apartment was spotless Location super, close to Marina area and all bus stops Good value for money Luis was very helpful Would highly recommend

Wonderful

Pros: The apartment was totally clean and had all the necessary utensils to use in the kitchen, also clean towels, toilet paper and bath soap. I am also grateful to the host because I knew we were going to take a child and he arranged the space of the apartment to place a second bed, that was very kind of him. It is located in the central area of funchal and has several bus stops and several supermarkets nearby. It must also be said that several attractions near the apartment including the Cristiano Ronaldo museum.

Pros: Great location, close to the underground parking, the Old Town, and the shopping center — everything within a few minutes’ walk. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Excellent contact with the owner: quick responses, very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Excellent location in historic buildings

Pros: The location was fantastic- very close to the old town and promenade. Very spacious apartment, very clean, small kitchen, nice shower room, quiet neighbourhood

Cons: View from window. Provision of coffee, a few tea bags, sugar and a small milk (just to start guests off with, especially those arriving on a later plane. Extra towels for people staying a week, a clothes airer.

Very nice studio with everything you need to prepare your own meal.

Pros: Perfect location in the center but not too busy nor noisy
