Pros: The accommodation is fantastic. It is located central in Funchal and you are just a walk away from all the restaurants, shops, cafes and you have a bus station right outside the door. The buses there take you all through Funchal and towards Sao Marthino. You have access to beaches by bus our car and if you rent a car/scooter, the accommodation gives you access to two reserved parking lots in a garage. The apartment is beautifully furnished and is big and well equipped. The kitchen has a dishwasher and everything you need to make real meals. The guy greeting us when we arrived was extremely friendly and nice. He wrote us down recommendations of restaurants, different types of foods and drinks and gave us a tour of the apartment, the garage and the garbage room.

Cons: It has a smell of a clogged drain in some parts of the apartment. It was mostly in the rooms located in the part furthest away in the apartment, probably since it doesn’t get used as much as the other rooms. I think the drains aren’t used there as much, and therefore they get dried out and start to smell. They would need to pour some hot water in the drains to make the smell go away. Every night we had a lot of small ants get into the kitchen area. We never left any food out or anything like that, but as soon as it started to turn into evening, several ants started showing up on the floor, around the dishwasher, on the counters and in the sink. They were also outside, but we never kept any doors open so it was quite frustrating how they got inside every night.

AMAZING!

Pros: Amazing apartment right in the middle of Funchal. We were delighted by the apartment, the terraces and the pool! Confortable parking lot inside the building, so we did not stress about where to park the rented car. Just wishing to have another vacation to visit less and spend more time in this amazing apartment. One of the best stays in our lives!

Second stay

Pros: My second stay, so speaks for itself. Large space with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one bathroom is shared between 2 rooms with their own entrance to it. Lots of supplies in kitchen. Lovely roof top pool. Shopping centre with Supermarket across the road and restaurants on your door step. Lovely views from each balcony. Water went one evening and they sent someone in about an hour, so fast on important issues.

Cons: Communication is so-so and it's like they rush through your message and answer what they think you have said rather than what you have actually asked. You have no direct contact on the island, you go through to a call centre on the mainland, who then contacts someone on the island. Supplying one key for 5 people, last time I stayed there was 2 sets of keys. Check out at 10am but check in at 4pm, only one person went to get the keys, but you must all be there, so if you land early, you're restricted to what you can do so everyone has to meet back at 4pm. That being said, it's such an ideal location and such a nice apartment, I would stay again.

Funchal June 2025

Pros: The location is fantastic for exploring Funchal, amenities, pool, off road parking and sun terrace. The size of the apartment is great with balconies on different sides overlooking the Marina and Funchal.

Cons: Only had 1 key between 6 people. Which made planning difficult. As per other reviews there is an unpleasant smell at times but this soon disappears when the window is open or air conditioning is put on. Customer service was poor as I raised a question but had no reply.

Awesome apartment in a great location

Pros: Perfect location right in the centre of town. The apartment is massive lots of room for a large family or group of friends. The balcony's are great and the pool was awesome and warm enough to not need heated at the end of May.

Cons: Can be a bit noisy on the balconys with the traffic noise but with the location it's to be expected.

Very nice stay.

Pros: Not able to use shower in jack and Jill room as kept falling off and we couldn’t reach. Leak in bathroom of main bedroom. Mattress protector was sweaty.

Cons: Loved the space. The pool the kitchen all wonderful

Really big apartment in prime location

Pros: Really big apartment. Location close to everything in the city. Good AC in every room. Decent swimming pool. Good wifi in every corner.

Cons: Elevator parking - you need to be a good driver to use it. Noise - location is way too noisy: cars, buses, music festivals (3 days out of 10 of our stay). Smell. It smelled unpleasantly like a sewer in part of the apartment. Kitchenware was tired.

Better than imagined

Pros: The best apartment on island. You can't find a better situated and bigger apartment than this one. Highly recommend!

Brilliant apartment and location. Will recommend to family and friends

Pros: Loved the location and the facilities were incredible. Massive apartment and a great place to be with family and friends. Everyone has their own space.

Cons: The car lift was erratic and we spent 15-30 minutes 4/7 days trying to get it to work. Neighbours were very helpful.

Rewelacyjne miejsce w Funchal

Pros: Rewelacyjny apartament w samym centrum Funchal. Widok na port i centrum zapiera dech w piersiach. Przestronne pokoje z łazienkami. Basen na tarasie i miejsce na grila. Polecam!!!
