Overall, despite these minor issues, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this place.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Madeira. The place is huge, bright, and very clean—everything was perfect. On the positive side, the sheets were clean, the blankets were warm, and the location is excellent—close to the city and shops. Parking was always available on the street; we had two cars and never had a problem, though there’s no private parking.

Cons: The bedding could be more comfortable; the pillows and the mattress on the sofa bed were not ideal. The only real downside was the ants in the bathroom. The host kindly offered a spray, but we couldn’t use it because we have asthmatics in the group. Another small issue was that there were no dishwasher tablets at all, which was surprising since there’s a dishwasher and we were a group of seven. There was only one laundry capsule as well. It would be nice if the host provided a few more based on the length of stay.

Highly recommend to stay if you travel in a big group.

Pros: Really close to the old town. The place is clean and spacious with 3 different bedrooms. You can find most of the things you need for a long stay in this apartment, e.g kitchen utensils, fridge, washing machine…

Cons: The main road is quite narrow so it can be a bit tough to drive/pick up there.

Pros: The apartment is very spacious, clean and in an excellent location. It was exactly as advertised.

Cons: The bottom of the bathroom door could sometimes stick and had to be pulled to open.

Pros: The accommodation is beautiful, with large spaces and all the necessary amenities, with a touch of elegance. The location is very good, with easy access to both the exit and the entrance to the highway. Also, with a 10-minute walk, you reach the historic center.
