We had a great property and a great host.

Pros: As described on the listing. Spacious. A well equipped kitchen. Comfortable with good Wi-Fi.

Cons: The weather. The West wind was very strong and whistling through the building. That was not something that our host could control.

Stunning spacious apartment with a sea and ocean view

Pros: - The apartment is stunning: you have 4 swimming pools, parking, stunning views on the ocean AND sunsets, supermarket / restaurants approachable by foot. - Furniture and equipment is one of its kind: you even have a bartender shaker to make your own Pina Colada and Nikita! - Marco is amazing host, super responsive and super helpful.

Cons: Nothing - everything was smooth, great, relaxing and luxury

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The apartment was even better than we could have hoped!

Pros: Marco was very welcoming and informative. He showed us around the property and helped with our luggage.

Cons: The bed could have been a tiny bit softer but that is down to our personal preference. It was still comfortable!

Great family Appartment - modern, comfy and well equipped

Pros: Amazing views and sunsets, really well equipped and spacious appt, with shops and restaurants on doorstep. Three different pools, plus local beach and lidos gave plenty of variety for the kids. Really well connected - airport bus and city centre bus stops immediately outside. If you do hire a car there is free secure parking.

Cons: That we had to leave it!

Pros: The owner was very pleasant, always helpful. We received a small snack and wine as a welcome. The apartment was modern and luxuriously furnished, with a beautiful view of the sea. Opposite the residence are shops and restaurants.

Pros: We were met by Marco when we checked in. He took the time to show us around and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is large, luxurious, and spacious, with two very comfortable large beds, and a wonderful view out to the sea. We (parents and 5 year old) stayed for 6 nights in the apartment with my in-laws and the apartment was big enough for us all. A few very tasty restaurants within a short walk away, and a short taxi ride into Downtown Funchal if you want more. Also, an excellent supermarket is within a 2 minute walk away. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to prepare some meals in the apartment. We rented a car as we wanted to explore the island. It was a good spot to do that from, but you could definitely get away without having a car. The swimming pools (3!) are lovely, but were only about 18 degrees C in March. The black sand beach is beautiful at low tide. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Cons: The complex is incredibly large and it isn't very easy to find your way around.
