A great base to explore Funchal

Pros: Nice location, within east walking distance to the old town and seafront. Quiet building, very very clean and comfortable apartment. A good base for our stay.

Cons: A few little utensils in the kitchen are needed such as baking trays for the oven, and maybe a jug

Perfect place to stay in Madeira

Pros: Our stay at The Loft by LovelyStay was absolutely fantastic! The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. It was impeccably clean, modern, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The view from the apartment was breathtaking – overlooking the city with a stunning panorama that we enjoyed every morning and evening. The location couldn't have been better! Everything we needed was just a short walk away – restaurants, shops, and local attractions, making it incredibly convenient to explore Madeira without needing a car. The hosts were exceptional as well. They were warm, welcoming, and always available to assist with any questions or recommendations, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and care for their guests truly made us feel at home. We highly recommend The Loft by LovelyStay to anyone visiting Madeira – it’s a gem of a place, and we can't wait to return! 🌟

Cons: Nothing, everything was fantastic!

Appartamento comodissimo per visitare Funchal anche a piedi

Pros: L'appartamento era molto pulito, la cucina fornita di tutto il necessario per cucinare, abbiamo anche trovato olio e caffè solubile. Il terrazzino con un tavolino per mangiare è stato apprezzatissimo, siamo riuscite a sfruttarlo anche a dicembre nei giorni in cui ha fatto un po' di freschino. La posizione comodissima per visitare Funchal a piedi.

Cons: Un suggerimento: metterei da subito a disposizione degli ospiti una coperta più pesante (noi l'abbiamo chiesta e avuta subito!) e qualche prodotto per pulire, ma nulla di rilevante :)

Tolle Lage und schöner Meerblick

Pros: Die Ferienunterkunft hat eine fantastische Lage und der Balkon bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf Funchal und das Meer. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, sodass es an nichts fehlt. Das Bett war sehr bequem und dank des Fahrstuhls ist auch der fünfte Stock problemlos erreichbar. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft für einen entspannten Aufenthalt!

Cons: Herausfordernd war lediglich, dass Mülltrennung verlangt wurde, aber nur ein Mülleimer in der Küche vorhanden war. Zudem waren die Barstühle am Esstisch etwas wacklig – da wir aber meist draußen gegessen haben, war das kein großes Problem. Die fehlende Klimaanlage war im Frühling unproblematisch, könnte im Sommer jedoch eine Herausforderung sein.

Fijn en gezellig verblijf

Pros: Het uitzicht was erg mooi, ook een fijne wijk om te verblijven. Parkeren is het makkelijkste bij Luzia parkeergarage (€4,- per dag).

Cons: De warmte, er was wel een ventilator maar snachts wordt het erg warm.

Wunderbares Temporärzuhause auf Madeira!

Pros: Das Apartment ist wunderbar geschmackvoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt, oder noch besser: Wie bei sehr stilvollen Gastgebern! Der Blick vom Balkon zum Berg und über die Stadt bis zum Meer inklusive an- und abfahrender Kreuzfahrtpötte und Seilbahnen ist fantastisch, wie auch die Tatsache, dass man ganztägig Sonne auf dem Balkom hat und auch das Apartment sehr hell ist. Ich wollte nicht mehr weg und wünschte, ich könnte hier das ganze Jahr leben und im Home-Office arbeiten. Die Lage ist ebenfalls der Kracher: Ca. neun Minuten zu Fuß runter bis zum Meer oder zu den Restaurant-Vierteln. Tolle einheimische Kaffee-Bars in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Rauf nach Monte (460 Höhenmeter den Berg hoch) kommt man von hier aus auch gut zu fuß, muss dafür aber auch gut zu Fuß sein. Zwischen ein- und zwei Stunden, je nach Fitness-Grad. ;-)

Cons: Die Bettdecke war nicht sehr atmungsaktiv, da gibt's Schöneres. Aber man sollte damit Leben können, finde ich. :-)
