A comfortable stay!
Pros: We had a great stay at this apartment in Madeira. The place is small but modern, well-maintained, and conveniently located not far from the city center. Cristiana was a fantastic host -very welcoming and always easy to reach.
Cons: The apartment had everything we needed, and there are just a few areas that could be improved: a slight damp smell from the kitchen sink, no ventilation in the bathroom, which made it feel quite humid, and no drying racks for clothes despite having a washing machine. Adding some shelves in the bathroom for toiletries would also be a nice touch.

Modern, clean and in a great location
Pros: The apartment was clean and modern. Beds were comfortable. Check in was smooth and Cristiana was friendly and helpful. and supplied lovely Madeiran treats, thank you! Great location. Could walk to shops and restaurants and the swimming areas.
Cons: The main bedroom didn't have any cupboards or place to hang clothes. A mirror in the bedroom would be nice too. The second bedroom had a cupboard but no place to put suitcases. Very small

Lovely hosts, and great place in a great location!
Pros: Clean, comfortable, and the host was amazing. They gave me a big bottle of water and a large variety of tea (because I don't drink coffee.) They also had a variety of coffee and a nice coffee machine. They gave me madeira chocolate, cake and sweets. They even let me check in a bit early. It's a central location so just a short walk from the beach or shops. The kitchen has everything you need... Microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer and cooker. They even had a TV with Netflix available. There was a little fan in the bedroom which came in handy. I loved my stay and will definitely be back!
Cons: You could clearly hear when people were walking around upstairs but it wasn't at anti social hours. There were also road works near by, again, they weren't at anti social hours.

Cosy studio in Funchal city center
Pros: Studio is cosy and host is very kind and helpful. It is clean and all necessary equipment in the kitchen is provided.
Cons: The only thing guests have to be aware that studio is located in the city center which is very comfortable but street noise could be not acceptable for all. We needed 2-3 nights to get used to sleep with the windows open. It was quite hot, too hot for us to sleep with the windows closed.

Pros: We have had the best stay here. The location is very central and a short walking distance from many nice restaurants and attractions. The apartment is equipped with most things you will need during your stay making it possible to cook some nights for example. The only thing is that the apartment can be a bit noisy from the upstairs tenants, nothing crazy but just footsteps and such, however there were already earplugs at our beside to solve this problem. Our host Miguel was extremely thoughtful and helpful and made our stay all the better. He communicates very well, has a ton of suggestions for things to do and is always willing to help. We will definitely look into this apartment again if we come back !

Recomendo pela excelente localização central.
Pros: O melhor é, sem dúvida, a localização central e o acolhimento e a assistência sempre cordial da Cristiana que se disponibilizou para dar resposta às necessidades (antes e durante a estadia). Apartamento bem remodelado num edifício antigo. Viajei com a minha mãe e o meu filho de 18 anos. Cada uma ficou num quarto com cama de casal e o jovem dormiu no sofá. Diria que é adequado no máximo para 3 pessoas. Dica de estacionamento grátis: Junto ao Jardim de Santa Luzia, na Rua ou na Travessa da Carne Azeda :)
Cons: Mau isolamento acústico (não só da rua, mas de outros apartamentos). Poucos utensílios na cozinha para quem deseja preparar refeições em casa. Bancada da cozinha pequena, sem espaço para o escorredor de louça. A porta do frigorífico encastrado não era prática de abrir.
