Great accommodation, reasonably priced
Pros: Location was good for our purposes but may not suit those who want to be closer to town. About a 15 min walk back into town (left out of apt and down the hill) but thought the area 10 min the other way (left and then right at roundabout) was nicer and closer to the lido. Apt was spacious and clean. Nice size kitchen and both bathrooms were decent sizes (note it's not an en suite). Shame the balcony is onto the main road, as the view is better from the back bedroom 🙂. Still used them though. Breakfast on the kitchen balcony was also pleasant. Love the sofas! Perfect for relaxing on after a long day at the track and we had one each! 2 nice sized double bedrooms. 3rd room was smaller but had the best view - note the 2 single beds don't come apart. Plenty of wardrobe space in all rooms. Good wifi most of the time. Gill, who greeted us, was lovely, very helpful and always responded to my random texts (I did get a birthday card at Ale Hop) 🙂.
Cons: There wasn't much not to like. There was a minor issue with ants for a day or so, but that's a problem all over the island as far as I can see. Not like ants at home - are much smaller and very fast...they seem to come and go, but best to keep things sealed or in the fridge.

Great stay in a very spacious apartment.
Pros: The location was perfect for walking to town which was easy as it was downhill. There is a bus stop outside with a very good bus service and perfect for our return. Also very well situated and an easy walk to the LIdo area. Magnolia Gardens is next door, and great for your morning coffee with a lovely snack bar and perfect for watching people playing Padel and also tennis courts. There is a restaurant within the gardens which is in a lovely setting and not too far to walk for lunch or dinner.

Pros: O apartamento era amplo, com sofás e mesa para refeições. A cozinha era bem equipada. O check-in e check-out foram fáceis. A vista era bonita. Tinha vaga de garagem.
Cons: As camas eram razoáveis e só haviam travesseiros muito altos. A limpeza deixou a desejar.

Un appartement où il est agréable de se poser entre 2 excursions.
Pros: Appartement très spacieux avec plusieurs balcons et vue sur mer. Cuisine parfaitement aménagée et de plus, il y a 2 salles de bains, 3 chambres et un immense séjour. 2 lignes de bus menant au centre historique de Funchal sont en bas de l'immeuble. Gill (qui s'occupe de remettre les clés) est très sympathique et efficace.
Cons: Seul petit bémol, 2 des 3 chambres donnent sur une rue très passante (mais les voitures deviennent rares entre minuit/1h et environ 5/6 h du matin).

Pros: Very spacious. Good value. Good communication with owner/ property manager. Full kitchen, easy to make meals. Fabulous balcony view. No issues with the apartment or getting my deposit back.
Cons: Noisy arterial road nearby. On Saturday night, there was a venue playing fairly loud music. I was able to sleep without earplugs, but if you're a light sleeper consider bringing earplugs.

Très bien
Pros: À 30 min à pied du centre-ville (se fait assez facilement). Parking privé disponible (attention accès avec petite voiture préférable). À côté des principaux axes routiers. Séjour début octobre, les températures étaient plutôt hautes. Pas de clim - ventilateurs disponibles. Si on dort la fenêtre ouverte, pas mal de bruits de véhicules (personnellement ça ne nous empêche pas de dormir). Mais si vous êtes sensible ça peut être un frein.
Cons: Rien de particulier, le logement correspond à la description. Pas de mauvaise surprise.

Pros: Las vistas del alojamiento son muy bonitas. El piso es muy amplio y cuenta con todo lo necesario (lavadora, lavavajillas, microondas, cafetera, etc.) Cerca hay restaurantes aunque para el centro hay que caminar 15 minutos (hay alguna subida). Me he sentido como en casa, lo recomiendo.
Cons: Demasiado ruido

Appartement vaste et confortable, centre ville à 20 minutes. Bon rapport qualité prix
Pros: L’espace , la cuisine bien aménagée, avec machine à laver et lave vaisselle, nombreux produits ménagers , la possibilité de manger à 4 personnes sur le balcon, 2 salles de bains, bus en bas de l’immeuble, parking privé mais étroit.
Cons: Dans une salle de bain le miroir est opposé au lavabo (pas pratique), pas de rangement pour les nécessaires de toilette dans la salle de bain.
