Barreiros ArchDesign Apartment

Pros: We were greated by Nuno on arrival who was very helpful. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and modern. The location was perfect for us. Basically a home from home and made our week in Funchal very memorable . I highly recommend this wonderful accommodation and hope to return again

Cons: N/A

Pros: Lovely modern apartment with everything you need. Location is great as its a relatively short walk into town in a nice area. Nuno was great, really helpful and great communication throughout. Highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Funchal

Pros: Everything was fine. Hosts incredibly helpful and communicative. Nuno answered every single question and kept informing us when necessary. The booking photos of the apartment perfectly reflected the actual condition of the house. The apartment is well equipped and has its own parking spot. The location is ok, 15min walk to the city centre, snackbar downstairs with coffee and tosta mista.

The perfect base for a week in Madeira

Pros: The apartment is well maintained, stylishly decorated and well equipped. It has everything you need for a stay on the island including a coffee machine (with a handful of pods to get you started), dishwasher and washing machine (pods for both of these too). The balcony with a view of the mountains was our highlight, a perfect place to enjoy coffee and breakfast or a glass of wine on an evening. Nuno and his partner were wonderful and gave us all the information we might need, assured us they were on hand if we needed anything and gave a brilliant list of recommendations for things to do and places to go! The location was great, a short walk to local restaurants and bars and a very short Bolt ride to the centre of Funchal.

Cons: Nothing to dislike, everything was brilliant!

Pros: The host Nuno is reachable at all times. He is always open to feedback and there to help if anything needed. The apartment is chic and modern, very spacious. Fully equipped kitchen. The dedicated parking in the city centre of Funchal is a value addition. The location connects you easily to different tourist spots. We had a wonderful stay

Cons: Nothing at all

All we needed for our stay and more!

Pros: Spacious, clean, neat and comfortable. The host went out of his way to help us with whatever we needed. We were a group of 5, just returning from a hike across the island, so we were tired, dirty and hungry, but we left clean, rested and happy!

Fantastic new apartment, with balcony and perfectly equipped. Nuno is a Super Host!

Pros: The host Nuno waited for us and explained everything. Better impossible!

Pros: Great place to stay. Everything was new and very clean. Communication with the host was easy and fast. The road down to the garage is quite narrow, but easily doable with a smaller car. We really enjoyed our time here!

Pros: Fantastic stay - great location and we had everything we needed. Many thanks!

A Home away from Home. Modern, clean and very comfortable. Excellent host, always happy to assist.

Pros: This property has recently been very tastefully refurbished and it still feels like New. For us it felt like a \

Cons: While the complimentary onsite underground car parking was offered and was appreciated, I found the entrance to it a bit of a challenge for the first few days as it's quite steep, narrow and it has a turn at the top. We had a compact SUV Rental (CUPRA Formentor) and I'd say you wouldn't want anything bigger than that if you chose to use the carpark without the fear of hitting the wall.
