Loved Lagos, the host, his helpful tips and our stay.
Pros: Spacious, modern, comfortable accommodations with a thoughtful and friendly host. Miguel has experience dealing with North American travelers needs/wants, and it shows in his attention to detail and the amenities he offers, which are not the norm in many European destinations. While it is imperative to have transportation at this location, those with vehicles will appreciate the ease of parking and safety. The large, soft bed was very comfortable after having spent 15+ nights on various sized beds in other stays.
Cons: We didn't dislike anything, however if I was forced to pick something, I'd say the coffee maker was not our favourite as it takes what seemed to be a proprietary capsule only available at Continente. HOWEVER, the host did provide a couple free capsules, so it is really only a minor thing if you drink a lot of coffee OR are staying more than a night. I'm sure if we asked, he would have given us more, but we went out to get some for our own consumption.

The highlight of this trip was kayaking in January to the benagel caves.
Pros: Super quiet in an updated neighborhood! Didn’t even hear a barking dog nor a roster crowing in the early morning. You can darken the apartment to sleep in longer than sunrise. You get private parking right next to the entrance.
Cons: I knew it was going to be hard to navigate to because of my lack of technical expertise but I wanted a high rated place that was quiet. Miguel made up the difference by being super helpful. He is the best host and so thoughtful and service oriented.

Highlight in Lagos
Pros: Ein Apartment mit Rundum-Betreuung! Unmittelbar nach der Buchung wurden wir von Miguel über alles zur Anreise und zum Aufenthalt in Lagos notwendige Informiert, aufs Herzlichste begrüßt und dann weiter betreut bis zur Verabschiedung. Die Wohnung war äußerst sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Die Lage, etwas außerhalb von Lagos und daher eine Fahrzeug notwendig, ist einfach ideal, um die umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten der südwestlichen Algarve zu erfahren.

Pros: Das Apartment liegt an einer ruhigen Lage. man benötigt unbedingt ein Fahrzeug, da auch Einkäufe sonst nicht möglich sind. Das Apartment ist vollständig ausgerüstet. Der Vermieter kümmert sich bestens um alle Bedürfnisse und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Leider erreicht die Sonne während den Wintermonaten das Apartment nie. Gutes WLAN und internationale Programme auf dem TV.

Pros: Super lieber Gastgeber. Immer erreichbar, kümmert sich um alles und hatte bei Ankunft schon 2 Bier für uns im Kühlschrank kalt gestellt. Der Aufenthalt war mehr als perfekt und es hat unsere Erwartungen komplett übertroffen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Pros: Padrone di casa gentilissimo, fornisce tutte le informazioni necessarie e più. Casa pulita in atmosfera rilassata a dieci minuti dal centro. Parcheggio davanti a casa. Attrezzi base se si decide di cucinare

Pros: Nos encantó todo. El apartamento es exactamente igual a las fotos. Todo muy limpio, la cama muy cómoda y no le falta ningún detalle. El propietario, Miguel, fue muy amable y simpático y estuvo en todo momento disponible para ayudarnos y facilitarnos información sobre lugares de interés de la zona, donde aparcar, mejores playas según el tiempo, etc. Sin duda alguna, volveríamos a repetir.
