Pros: Jaqueline was a wonderful host. She was always available and very responsive whenever we needed anything. Communication was kind, helpful, and easy throughout our stay. We really fell in love with Machico and truly hope to come back one day. The apartment is in a great location, just a short walk from the sea. It was beautiful, clean, and everything was in perfect order. We highly recommend both the accommodation and the host, and thank you very much for a lovely stay!

Cons: On one side of the street, there are restaurants, so we couldn’t really keep the windows open, but we actually enjoyed one of them and had excellent sushi, so it didn’t bother us too much. 🙂

Irish couple in Maderia

Pros: Perfect base for exploring the island from. Lovely that it's in the heart of Maderia so in the evenings after hiking you can easily spend the rest of the evening, plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, atmosphere and right beside the sand beach for a dip easily. Well fitted out, all the facilities you need. Comfortable for spending time in as well. Nice that windows open up right on to central area. Shower is very good, hot and powerful.

Pros: Perfect location of the appartment in the center of Machico. Clean and well equiped.

Great stay in Machico

Pros: Beautiful apartment. Spacious, clean, great interior design. Perfect location. So glad to choose to stay in Machico over Funchal. Would highly recommend.

Cons: The shower didn't drain well and the bathroom floor would end up wet.

Highly recommend but no balcony

Pros: Perfectly situated lovely one bed spacious and spotless clean apartment. With very good shower. Two very nice restaurants at your front door and beach 3 minutes walk.

Cons: There is not a balcony as we thought but a downstairs space off the laundry that isn't very nice. There are big windows and shutters tho so it's nice and airy. Messaged to ask if we could leave our luggage anywhere on check out but did not receive an answer. But overall a very good choice of accommodation

Clean and beautiful place to stay close to the sandy beach

Pros: Beautiful and clean property, very well maintained and close to the sandy beach. Also, restaurants and shops are right in front of the property. Has got facilities for washing and drying clothes, and very fast Internet. Perfect place for a family stay. The hand shower (bidet) in the toilet was a surprising welcome addition.
