Amazing apartments and the owner!
Pros: We are happy with the apartments, the location is just perfect and a lot of space for a family, nice and comfortable. Supermarkets, shops, cafes, the beach just minutes away. And the owner is amazing, she is friendly and very helpful! Thank you so much! We would like to come again!

Marvellous Machico
Pros: Loved the location and the late check out allowed on our last day. Apartment is a lovely size and has all facilities you need. Showers were lovely and powerful. Welcome treats on arrival which is very thoughtful. The car rental place downstairs was brill aswell. No credit card or high excess. The Sandy beach nearby is fabulous as is the water. Brolly n lounger is 3 euro for the day. What more could you want. Lots of lovely eateries nearby.
Cons: Mattresses are very hard bit uncomfortable. No Aircon so difficult if weather very hot but thankfully machico has a nice breeze and we weren't here in the very hot weather.

Clean and comfy apartment with great facilities and friendly communicative host
Pros: Ricardo was a great host - he and his wife started a Whatsapp chat to make communication super easy. He met us to hand over the keys, gave us a tour of the apartment, and even a small tour of the town, pointings out restaurants, grocery stores, and things to do. Everything was freshly cleaned and neat, and the bonus of a dishwasher and washing machine was really helpful. I wish I had a kitchen that large! It was also in a great location and convenient to have an underground private parking spot.
Cons: The pillows were a bit too stiff for my liking but that's just personal preference I suppose!

Pros: Zahra and Ricardo are very nice people. The apartment is in a great location, everything is nearby: shops, the main square, the beach. The airport is a 5-minute taxi ride away. Our stay was great, like at home.

Pros: Very spacious and comfortable apartment, contains all the amenities as advertised, including free parking in the building. Very close to the apartment there is a sandy beach and many shops and restaurants. The hosts are very nice, trouble-free check-in, good contact. ☺️ We recommend

Pros: Good location. Friendly staff. We were allowed to check-in earlier and check-out later than indicated hours.
Cons: Apartment looks better on the pictures that it actually is. During our stay one shower was not working, refrigerator was leaking, few small things here and there were broken. Beds are narrow and squeak a lot (at lest some of them).

Pleasant stay
Pros: Great location, easy access to property. We were picked up at the airport by the host herself(15 euros), so we had no trouble getting there. Plenty of space, safe location, main facilities provided, easy communication with the owners. The host also gave us a few important tips as to the best restaurants and supermarkets. We were also greeted with a bottle of wine, some cookies, tea and coffee, which was nice.
Cons: The heating system only consists of some small fans that have to be plugged in all the time, make a lot of noise and don't really help raise the temperature. The flat is not exposed to sunlight, so it was quite cool and damp. This could be ok in summer, but when it's 16 degrees outside, it may be a problem for some( it definitely was for me). Also, there were no clear instructions for some of the appliances, we couldn't get the TV set to work, we had to figure out how to make the dishwasher work, there are some issues with water leakage in the kitchen and plugged washbasin in one of the bathrooms. The rooms were clean, but the furniture outdated and impractical in one of the bedrooms. They could also provide more utensils in the kitchen( no colander, a broken corkscrew, no strainer, no bowls, etc)
