Sun Beach Apartment

Excellent apartment, very close to everything

Pros: It is a spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. There is even a washing+dryer in the kitchen. There are enough hooks to hang clothes etc. in all the rooms including the bathroom. The white good were all of good quality and there was enough crockery and utensils in the kitchen. The towels and linen were neat and clean. The apartment itself was well cleaned. There was free limited parking nearby (100m) where we managed to find an empty slot to park all the 4 days of our stay. All the interesting places, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and beaches are within 100m - 500m from the apartment. There was even an iron and iron board as well as a hair dryer in the apartment. They even had a medicine and first aid kit if needed. The only thing I missed in the apartment was a dishwasher, rest everything was excellent.

Cons: The water kettle in the kitchen was not working. There was a smell from the drains in the bathroom, nothing major but very noticeable when entering the bathroom. One of the bedroom had a very weird smell, we couldn't make out what it is and it didn't affect us since we were just 2 of us and we used the other bedroom. Another weird thing was, there were 9 bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. in the bathroom. 7 out of those 9 were completely empty and the other 2 had the only the last 10-15 ml in them. Maybe some time needs to be spent on this :)

Great stay overall

Pros: Proximity to beach and restaurants. Quiet location. Good base for Pico da Areiro sunrise hike

Cons: No parking included

Spacious well equipped apartment in the center

Pros: Spacious apartment in the very center of downtown Machico. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for your stuff. Flat is very well equipped, all kitchen utilities, spices, salt, pepper, oil, olive oil etc. Vacuum cleaner and other cleaning components are also available, especially useful if you stay there for a longer period. Washing machine with dryer will definitely help since it's quite humid. Plenty of place to chill in the living room with sofa and big TV, space to eat (with second TV). Easy communication, keys were locked in the locker near building entrance - received very detailed instruction with photos how to find the apartment. Very good restaurant down the road called Talhadas - strongly recommend! Pretty near the beach (pebble one 3 minutes, sand one 5 minutes) restaurants, grocery shop 6 minutes from the flat. Surf school just around the corner.

Cons: Single-ply toiler paper - this should be globally banned haha, and ultimately definitely won't come cheaper. Missing soap and dish soap.

Pros: Grand appartement, propre et avec tout le nécessaire.

Cons: La porte en bas de l'immeuble est très dure à ouvrir.

Pros: Duidelijke en correcte beschrijving inclusief extra foto’s ter verduidelijking. Zeer snelle reactie van de host bij vragen op de dag van aankomst ook al boekten we last minuut. Ruim appartement voorzien van alle faciliteiten en echte thuis. Bars, restaurants en Parking op wandelafstand

Cons: Slot van de toegangsdeur tot het gebouw ging moeilijk open. Precies reeds enkele keren geforceerd geweest. Slot van de toegangsdeur tot het appartement ging moeilijk dicht maar mijn man kon dit repareren. Geen verwarming in de badkamer waardoor je je handdoeken en badmat moeilijk droog kreeg voor een volgende gebruik = meer linnen gebruikt dan gewoonlijk.

Pros: Muy buena comunicacion con el anfitrion... Excelente.

Appart à Retenir

Pros: Son emplacement, sa propreté, ses équipements, pour nous rien ne manqué, tout est à proximité, supermarché pharmacie plage bus...

Cons: Petit incident sur le ballon d eau chaude mais notre hôte est intervenu dans la demi heure et nous a solutionné l incident. Merci

Pros: La cama muy cómoda y tienes todo tipo de útiles y menaje en el apartamento. Un buen detalle que te dejen cápsulas de café y té.

Cons: Cuando entramos, la empleada de la limpieza no había llegado aún y nos encontramos el apartamento sucio y sin arreglar. Tuvimos que sacar la ropa de cama que dejó dentro de la lavadora para poder nosotros poner una. Difícil de encontrar sin las instrucciones del anfitrión

Pros: La ubicacion y las habitaciones, con camas muy grandes y comodas.

Cons: Pensaba que el piso seria mas grande, poco espacio para familia de 5 personas.

Pros: Самый большой плюс этих апартаментов - место расположения! Всё рядом! В квартире есть всё для приготовления еды: от посуды до подсолнечного масла, специй, сахара и соли. Были в июле, при отсутсвии кондиционера не было жарко. Семье с ребёнком было очень удобно.
