Wonderful views of the sea and sunset - in all weathers!
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay and especially loved the amazing sea views from the lounge area – just over the road, the view was stunning in all weathers (sun and thunderstorms) and an absolute highlight of the space. It was equally beautiful at night, with the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the water. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the shower had good pressure and consistent hot water. It was also great to have allocated parking, though the space is quite tight, so a smaller car and confident manoeuvring are definitely helpful. The location was convenient too – just a short walk to a couple of small local restaurants serving simple but tasty seafood and meat dishes. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. Host was very communicative and helpful.
Cons: While we really enjoyed our stay and the stunning views, there were a couple of things that could be improved to make the experience even better. The pillows weren’t very comfortable, and we felt they could do with replacing. Also, the inside of the lounge windows could have been cleaner – the view is such a standout feature of the property, so we actually cleaned them ourselves to fully enjoy the outlook. These were really small things, as overall the apartment was great.

A good self-catering apartment with room for improvement
Pros: -Directly on the seaside. -Walking distance from the center of Madalena do Mar. -Close to the main road to Funchal. -Spacious. -Parking is available on the roadside right in front of the building. -Constant roaring of the waves. -Stable broadband internet connection. -Self check-in.
Cons: -Some amenities could be repaired / changed (partially broken sofa on the balcony, broken shutters of the window of the living room, toaster not working). -The beds' mattresses could be more comfortable. -Wi-Fi does not reach the parts of the apartment furthest away from the router. -Despite the ant traps placed in the flat we still had trouble with those insects. -Somewhat overpriced for the value.

Great apartment fantastic location good value
Pros: The location was fantastic. It was a lovely apartment right by the sea. It had 2 private balconies and access to a shared terrace. It was very conveniently located next to some lovely little beach bars. The road outside was very quiet.
Cons: The undergound parking space was very small and an absolute nightmare to get out of if the other spaces were full. There is alternative on street parking.

Erholsamer Urlaub direkt am Meer
Pros: Die Lage direkt am Meer ist das absolut Besondere an dieser geräumigen, gut ausgestatteten Wohnung in einem schönen Gebäude. Jedes einzelne Fenster bietet einen wunderbaren Meeresblick, und der große Balkon mit guter Sitzgelegenheit und einem Tisch ist einfach genial. Die Wohnung befindet sich im 2. OG und ist über Treppe oder Aufzug erreichbar. Es gibt dort 2 nebeneinanderliegende Schlafzimmer, eins mit Doppelbett und das andere mit 2 Einzelbetten, die bei Bedarf zusammengeschoben werden könnten. Die Matratzen sind weder zu weich noch zu hart. Ein Tipp für Empfindliche: Wen das Rauschen des Meeres in der Nacht stören könnte, sollte unbedingt Ohropax dabei haben.
Cons: Die Kissen sind sehr unbequem.

Bardzo udany pobyt, polecam:).
Pros: Widok z okien i tarasu na ocean i okolicę niesamowity. Wart każdej ceny:). Apartament był czysty, zadnych insektów (chociaż lekko przyniszczony). W pobliżu kilka fajnych, klimatycznych knajpek z dobrym jedzeniem i piciem. Pomimo położenia przy ulicy jest cicho, jedynie szum oceanu. Bezpośrednio w miejscowości brak sklepu ale rano jeżdził busik z pysznymi bułeczkami:). Z kuchni korzystalismy w podstawowym zakresie, wyposażenie było dla nas wystarczające. Parkowaliśmy przy ulicy, nie było problemu. W budynku jest winda. Duży plus to skrytka z kluczami.
Cons: Mogly by byc wygodniejsze poduszki.

Vistes fantàstiques
Pros: Està molt ben situat i les visites al mar són fantàstiques. Sortir a la petita terrassa i seure a mirar el mar és molt agradable. També sentir el so de les onades relaxa molt. L'apartament estava molt ben equipat i hi havia coses com oli, sucre, café, infusions, sabó...
Cons: Potser li faltaria una mica de renovació i arreglar algunes coses com els cables penjant, insonoritzar les finestres, canviar els porticons...
