Don’t judge a book. This place is spot on

Pros: At first we all got a bit of a fright when we arrived. We were wrong. The location is just so fab, the locals in the area are just amazing. Inclusive and interesting. Patrick, your host, and Elda your neighbour, are just so great to chat to and lots of great advise for the area.

Cons: We had booked all three rooms for a group, so it made it great. The space in front of the rooms, almost a driveway, was fun and perfect for dinners and lunches. For right in with what the whole neighbourhood is doing. If you had just one room may be a bit different.

Pros: loads of facilities in the location, everything you could ask for, freebies and a lovely bathroom. shop right outside the door. amazing view of the mountain from outside the room.

Small Cozy Place

Pros: A really small, yet sufficient accommodation. Everything necessary was provided, including a small kitchenette and a bathroom. Perfect for a few days!

Perfect recharging spot after our hike

Pros: It's a cute small studio, which was perfect for our one night stay. It is equipped with everything you need.

Cons: A warmer blanket would be nice, in the night it got a bit cold.

Pros: Super nice host who told us everthing about the local restaurants and places we should visit. The room was clean and had everything you need.

Pros: Really friendly owner. Nice place to stay. Quick walk to the beach and city!

Great value for the money

Pros: The property has a great location if you have a car. Very close to express road, 15 minutes from Funchal. It’s also close to a beautiful black sand beach. The mini market is just a few steps away. The studio is spacious, very nice bathroom.

Cons: From july to september is cockroach season, so property suffers from it like any other. We had a few, and also found a few dead ones in the apartment.

Cosy and clean apartment, everything was great!

Pros: Paulo, the host, was super nice and helpful. He gave us tips about sights and restaurants. The apartment was tidy, clean and everything we needed was there. Can recommend!

Cons: A 15 minute walk to the beach and town which we didn’t mind but might bother some

Pros: Finished to a high standard, compact but with all needs met. Shop across the road to get a coffee and some provisions. 15 min walk into town which had a good selection of restaurants and rum museum.
