Calheta Beach - All-inclusive - Savoy Signature

Relaxed and restful stay. Despite a fee issues, we had a great holiday. I would visit again.

Pros: Good location, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere.

Cons: Indoor pool was too small. Cramped entrance, blocked by table tennis table. The Jacuzzi was just one small section of the pool which meant that it was the same temperature as the pool (not hot). Narrow gaps between tables in restaurants and could’ve done iwith a few more tables for two. Lack of choice in the. ‘ special’ restaurants for all inclusive guests. We had a problem with ants in our bedroom which they were unable to get rid of during our day. When we booked, we weren’t made aware that our room only had a shower which was extremely inconvenient. The listing stated bath or shower and did not explain that the bath option was only for very expensive rooms which weren’t on offer by Booking.com anyway.

My daughter loved the pool and buffet.

Pros: Two pools, great selection of food throughout the day, including a fantastic snacks corner. The drinks were good and never a long queue at the bar. You can also self-serve some wine, beer and soft drinks. We were also allowed to wear our wristbands after we had checked out as our flight departure time meant we have a few hours of sitting around. I was delighted that we could still have food and drink while we waited - that was very impressive. Balconies were very large.

Cons: I felt like there wasn’t much to do in the area. Might be nice if they let you borrow some kayaks or something. Shame the mini bar was empty. A few drinks in the room would have been nice, but you could take drinks from the bar to the bedrooms

Excellent hotel in beautiful location

Pros: Good clean hotel in all areas. Friendly staff and excellent beachside position .Enjoyed the live entertainment and the variety of food was very good .

Cons: Car park was very small maybe designated parking slots along main road would be better .

Pros: I was at the resort for 6 days. First of all, the staffs were so friendly and caring. Everyone was smiling and was nice. We planned on going to Funchal but eventually only did the west Madeira tour because my kids preferred to stay at the hotel and enjoy the swimming pool and the sun. All inclusive was super good. Beer and cocktail were awesome as we drank everyday enjoying the atmosphere. Foods were dynamic as the Christmas pre dinner was very good. Staffs were also friendly when serving buffet as the dishes were always taken away when I returned. The Christmas Santa show as well as party at 20 30 was always intriguing and fun. Thank you for everything and would like to go back to enjoy this Resort

Pros: Inside there is a heated pool, sauna, entertainment, live music

Cons: There are no entertainment options near the hotel

Cons: The sauna was not hot enough, the gym needs an upgrade with more space & machines/free wrights.

Cons: The room size was on the smaller size. Air conditioner had some errors on the panel, it didnt really cool down the room as much as we wanted to.

Cons: You serve all inclusive food which sometimes was good , but often it was hard to find a good meal! Breakfast was always good , gluten free toast is so easy but you don’t offer it! Perhaps less of a selection and higher quality would be worth considering!! However we loved our stay with you!

Pros: A beautiful location, only a short walk to the beach and the marina. Large comfortable bedrooms with a lovely view of the beach & pool. A great all inclusive service, there's a buffet with excellent choice & varied lunch & dinner options. There's also 2 restaurants that can be utilised just prebook the day before. The food was delicious, fresh & plentiful.

Cons: The air conditioning in our bedroom was faulty, which my husband reported on the day we arrived but still hadn't been fixed by the time we left 6 days later, which was very disappointing.
