Good apartment in Porto Santo

Pros: Early check in, we were met by manager Claudia, who was hospitable, told us about the apartment, and gave us useful recommendations. The kitchen was equipped by everything we needed. 15 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes to the supermarket.

Pros: The apartment is perfectly located - 15 minutes walking distance from the sea shore and 10 minutes from a centre of the island. Amazing views, ambience and very nice neighbours of local people make this place unique for a nice cozy family stay. The host carefully prepared XXL beach towels. We were amazed with a personal approach the host treated us and the warm seeing off in checking out time.

Cons: There were no toiletries at all accept of toilet paper, so we had to buy shampoos, hair conditioners and shower gels. The host did not take care of any washing detergents too. No “quick wash” mode in a washing machine, so we had to wash full mode clothes / towels we used once only for sunbathing. It gives an unpleasant feeling of over excessive water and electricity consumption that might end up with big bills for the host. Also, this is the first time I met the requirements of €150 deposit for our stay. Also, the check in at 3 pm and the host refused to have us earlier as we requested, so we had to wait till 3 pm to enter the apartment.

Ample of space a bit above town

Pros: We liked that there was so much space and good facilities. The big kitchen and the living room. The 2 patios. It was very clean. We enjoyed watching the birds (common castrel, hoopoe) on the small plot of land in front of the building. We especially liked the warm welcome and cake! 😆 That was a very nice touch.

Cons: If I have to point out something that was not good, it has to be that there was no fixture to hang up the shower head.

Great stay in Porto Santo!

Pros: Nice place to stay. Very well located close to a sunset/sunrise viewpoint and hosts were very nice. All equipment needed is there.

Cons: Be aware that someone needs to come specifically for the check-in so make sure to be aware of that.

Pros: The apartment is very cute. It is like grandma house. It is also big and has a barbecue area. We used it every day. Kitchen is well equipped. You need to get the charcol for the bbq. The host who welcomes you- Claudia is super kind person and very helpful. Beach and the city is not far away.

Would return 100%

Pros: Wonderful host, it's a really nice house with everything you need.

Cons: I suggest checking the mattress for the main room.
