A nice hostal above a popular local restaurant

Pros: This hostal has no nameboard - it's above the Prezeres a Mesa restaurant, which is easy to find on the side of the road. We'd recommend letting them know when you expect to arrive, as the place is closed outside restaurant hours otherwise. There is a good-sized car park and the accommodation is accessed via an external staircase. The main room is a big, bright and airy kitchen-diner. There is a separate sitting room, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a terrace with some outside seating, so plenty of space! There are 2 bars a few minutes walk away or you can try (as I did) the beef on a skewer at the restaurant. With chips as well it's tasty and very filling!

Quite lonely like “italian” summer villa

Pros: Very small village with no people so if you are looking for that, it’s perfect. We have the villa just for ourself so it was very big and we felt like in italian villa with a really big kitchen and terrace.

Cons: The furniture was very old and with frogs behind the house it was very noisy in the evening. But thats just a small thing :)

We loved it!

Pros: The check-in was smooth. We were lucky enough to be the only guests for the night and felt very blessed to have such a big house. The facilities are impressive and very comfortable. It was very clean and smelled really nice. It had a lot of parking space. In the night we enjoyed staying in the patio looking at the stars... priceless... One of the simplest yet best experiences we've had in Madeira so far.

Pros: Tres bon accueil, grande cuisine, propreté, parking, parties communes propres

Cons: L'emplacement ne correspondait pas a mes attentes. Bien placé pour une randonnée mais loin de tout le reste mais c'est ma faute.
