Excellent location with a wonderful ocean view.

Pros: Excellent location with a wonderful ocean view. There is a bus stop and a supermarket nearby. The apartment has private parking in the courtyard. There is also a lovely garden with fruit trees where you can sit and enjoy a picnic. The apartment had everything we needed. A lot of household appliances: a coffee machine, toaster, microwave, grill, kettle, fridge, and stove. There was plenty of kitchenware, enough towels and toilet paper. We were very pleasantly surprised by a welcoming gift — a small bottle of Madeira wine and a traditional local sweet. Coffee capsules, salt, and oil were also provided, which was very thoughtful. The host was always in touch and had no problem extending our stay late at night when our flight was cancelled due to the storm. The apartment was quite clean and very cozy. Thank you very much. I would definitely come back again.

A very relaxed and protected couple of days to start off our Madeira adventure!

Pros: It’s a protected haven in the middle of the center. When in bed, you hear only the sound of the waves, in the garden you see only the greenery, but once outside the gate you’re close to both restaurants and natural pools. It’s snug, but sparkly clean. All you need is provided for, included two sets of towels and a very lovely welcome basket!

Pros: Beautiful house with garden and terrace with a view , fully equipped to cook, and comfortable for three adults ( in the end, we shared the big bedroom). One footstep away from the natural swimming pools and the supermarkets . Cherry on top was the landlady! - Ms. Felicidade is a really nice host and treated us with eggs, banana, and even home- made marmalade of figs from her garden . She also allowed us an early check in. We really appreciated the extra mile she went to take care of us. I send her a hug and totally recommend her place !

A perfect oasis in the breathtaking Porto Moniz.

Pros: A beautiful, traditional little place in a perfect location in Porto Moniz. When you close the gate you are in another world. Friendly chickens, grape vines and banana trees. A perfect oasis. I would highly recommend for a unique experience. The Madeira wine, eggs and bananas on kitchen table were so nice.

Great place to stay in Porto Moniz

Pros: If you're coming to Porto Moniz and want somewhere to stay with some character choose Waves Song Cottage! A great place to stay, so close to the natural pools and the restaurants/small supermarkets and then able to return to the cottage for some peace and quiet. Off street parking is also a big plus. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and good tv/wifi connections. Thank you to the owner for a quick response to my question re the tv. If we were to return to Porto Moniz - this is where we'd book,

Cons: Not a dislike but an observation - perhaps update the double bed photos to show the 2 single beds (yes I know it's in the written description).

Lovely Cottage

Pros: We loved this little cottage for our stay. The location is amazing, everything you need is in short walkable distance. The house is well equipped and has a cute cottage flair with chicken in the garden and outdoor spaces to have breakfast in the sun with sea view aswell. The car could be comfortably parked in the driveway.

Pros: Traditional Madeira home in the center of town. Very comfortable and quiet for sleeping. Restaurants and stores are a short walk. The sea is just across the street with the famous volcanic swimming pools. The house is secure and has a wild orchard. The owner was gracious and responded expeditiously to questions that arose..

Cons: A few minor electrical problems. These were quickly resolved.

Amazing

Pros: Localisation is perfect, you can enjoy working an amazing vies wifi the small garden ! I loved it !

A perfect stay for a nice getaway!

Pros: Such a great location, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea! It provided us with all the amenities and we were treated to some fresh fruit, eggs, and Madeira wine!

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: You feel like you are home here. It’s cozy cottage with all staff you need. We really liked staying here. Thanks to Graciela for all her help. She is so nice host! The location is amazing, one step from natural pools. And after 19:00 the pool was free.

Cons: There is only a fan and no air conditioner. One night was pretty hot.
