Cozy chalet with ocean view

Pros: Cute little home with great terrace. Be prepared that there is nothing around, but it's an advantage for a quiet stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property and views.

Pros: Communication from the host was straightforward and easy to follow. The cozy chalet and gated property is beautiful. Very well restored/built and very clean. The outdoor patio areas and balcony are great for viewing the surrounding countryside, waterfalls, and ocean. The laundry facility onsite was easy to access and well stocked. The upstairs bedroom was very organized and the fleece sheets were warm for cool nights. All windows included lockable shutters that kept almost all light out, which is great for sleeping. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and fridge was large. Easy access from here to nearby towns of Porto Moniz and Seixal.

Cons: When arriving at the property, parking within the gated area is very difficult. We had a compact SUV and soon realized it would not be possible to navigate in and out of the driveway without risking hitting out car on one of the fences. There is a public lot directly across the street which was great! just be very careful walking across and down the road a bit, as the chalet is near a blind turn. I would suggest having a compact car if you want to easily park onsite. Another thing was, The first night we stayed some of the neighbors were quite loud around 2-3am in the morning which woke us up for a bit. I see some other reviews mention neighbor's noises, although i do think our experience was as bad as what some others describe. Our only other concern was how low the ceilings are in some areas. This may not be the best place to stay if the members of your party are quite tall. My partner is over 6ft and so he pretty much couldn't use the sink in the upstairs bathroom or the one in the kitchen without risking hitting his head on the ceiling. Luckily there is a great full bathroom on the mainloor and sink/shower in there.

Lovely! Looking forward staying here again

Pros: Lovely, cozy setting, everything clean and well maintained. Communication with the host was open and warm, which is always a plus, even the neighbourhood cats were polite and adorable :) The location was perfect getting around Seixal and it's surroundings. Falling asleep hearing the waves and rain was relaxing.

Cons: The traffic noise bothered a tiny bit and the sheets were fleece-kind of fabric that required a bit of getting used to but otherwise all was excellent!

Relaxing stay away from city chaos

Pros: The chalet has an amazing view on the Atlantic ocean and the mountains. It had everything someone might need: kitchen with all appliances and tools, two bathrooms with towels and soap , and two nice rooms with comfy beds. There is also a nice backyard were you can park your car. Overall a very nice experience.

Cons: Communication with the host could have better, not all questions/requests were answered in a timely manner.

A really lovely little place spoilt by noisy neighbours

Pros: Super beautifully converted old farm building perfect for a couple. Very well appointed bathrooms/kitchen etc. Lovely little outdoor area, and balcony. Everything you need.

Cons: The main problem was not the property itself but the neighbouring building just behind which seemed to hold continuous family parties in it's garden with 20 or so rather loud local people from early afternoons until late night making it impossible to enjoy any peace on the patio, or even in the little house. Maybe we were unlucky with the timing of our stay, but for the few days we stayed it was every afternoon/evening. A real shame. BTW on a main road you really need a car staying here as it isn't possible to walk to any cafes/restaurants/shops/beaches

Pros: Absolutely clean and equipped with everything you can think of. A big advantage is the second bathroom on the floor.

Cons: The road next to the house, but we knew about that :-)

Pros: Fully equipped small house in a charming small village by the sea.

Cons: I would put 10 if the communication with the owner was better. This is located at the exit of the bridge going toward porto moniz. This was not mentioned so we had trouble to find.

Beautiful view and peaceful place

Pros: We liked the small things were integrated in the apartament (flowers, candles, air fresheners). The yard is fantastic, so much place to catch your breath. Mesmerizing views all around. Kitchen is full of neccessary equipment (blender, italian coffee pot, coffee bean grinder, kettle, tea pot and more).

Beauty Stay

Pros: The position are so beautiful, there is just outside the tunnel in a little place where are others chalet. Were super clean and really beautiful. I recommend!
