Namastê House I

Pros: It was a really nice stay at Namaste. The appartement has enough space for two people and was very clean. The sunsets and view over the region are a big plus.

Cons: The wifi is a bit unstable and loses it’s connection. The host responses fast with a restore of connection for a period of time. The sheets don’t fit the matras well enough so that can be a bit uncomfy during the nights. Overall, a nice place to stay. Be sure to rent a car. You need it to discover the place.

Pros: Beautiful apartment in excellent condition in a quite neighborhood. Fully equipped kitchen, and very comfortable bed. The sea view from the spacious balcony is definitely a highlight. Very friendly and kind hosts.

A spacious, well-equipped apartment with a great balcony view though the bedding was uncomfortable

Pros: Spacious, well-equipped apartment with a great view from the balcony, easy parking, and a nice restaurant just a short walk away. We received good recommendation of restaurants from the host.

Cons: Although the mattress was comfortable, the bedding felt quite synthetic and didn’t really breathe well. The pillow was also rather uncomfortable. The apartment itself feels not yet fully furnished, especially in the bathroom, where shelves or storage furniture are missing.

Large Beautiful Apartment

Pros: Large beautiful apartment. Amazing views. Parking space. Short drive to nearest town. Nice restaurant at the top of the hill nearby.

Breathtaking view. Spotlessly clean

Pros: Spotlessly clean apartment with lots of space. The balcony has sweeping views of Madeira's south coast. The bed is very comfortable with beautiful linen. The owners live downstairs and are very helpful and also respectful of their guests' privacy. It has a modern kitchen and a spacious bathroom, which includes a washing machine. There is a supermarket and coffee shop a short walk down the road . The property has ample parking which is rare in Madeira.

Cons: You must have a car to stay here, and driving on Madeira's steep and windy roads can be challenging. The restaurants within walking distance are ok, but definitely not Madeira's best.

Pros: Very large apartment with a well equipped kitchen . Good communication with the host

A second home at Madeira

Pros: We stayed here for a week after having stayed in Funchal for 4 days. The place is wonderful. The drive from Funchal to Porta do Sol is fun and beautiful. The appartement itself is very nice, it has ever you need. There is a supermarket nearby that has all the basis groceries.

Cons: Not really negative things to mention. We are quite tall people. The bed therefor is quite small. The other thing we would suggest to improve is the shower. Maybe you could increase it a bit in size?

Fantastic place to stay during your trip to Madeira.

Pros: Nice, cozy and comfortable place. Its location is perfect, if you want to travel all around Madeira. The hosts are kind, polite and helpful. There are good restaurants, pizzas and supermarkets in close proximity. The view is fantastic. There are parking places within the yard, which is important for Madeira.

Cons: There is nothing that I can include in this list.

Perfect apartment for people who like to explore but also have a quiet base to chill and hang out

Pros: Amazing views from the large balcony. Very well equipped

Pros: Owner and her daughter were really nice to us. Kitchen was fully equipped. Balcony is really big and you can spend nice evening there. We spent one week at apartment and had no problem. We highly recommend this residence.
