My kind of Place

Pros: I loved that it was remote, just what I wanted. There was a double bed and 2 singles. I chose to sleep in a single, it was very comfortable.

Cons: Maybe the rooster, early morning wake up. But it is pointed out, that there are animals. I was a bit wary with the area to park, as with a rental you don't want to scratch it, but Arlindo showed me an easier spot to park which worked out great.

Pros: Old house, some problems exist, but very friendly owner can help you at any time.

Farmhouse with a super host.

Pros: The renovated farmhouse has a separate living room, (rather small) bedroom, (large) kitchen with dining table and a balcony. Modern amenities. Laundry facilities. Super friendly and welcoming host giving you a lot of information about the area and Madeira in general. Andreina even shared selfmade, delicious soups with us... (complimentary !).

Cons: None.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were really kind, they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and fruits. The house is spacious and has all necessities and from the terrace you get an amazing view of the ocean. The village is really quiet so you can get an authentic and relaxing stay experiencing a little bit of Madeira’s countryside. Thank you for the lovely experience.

Lovely holiday!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The hosts are lovely and helpful, made us feel like home from the moment we’ve arrived and we even got to try tasty homemade treats baked by Andreina. The house was lovely and cosy, we could enjoy the view from the terrace every evening - beautiful sunsets! There is a nice bar just 5 minutes away, looks cool and they serve amazing burgers, perfect after a long hike. Nice wine and very reasonable prices! Also, you can walk from there for 10 minutes and enjoy a breathtaking view during a cable car ride (Achadas da Cruz cable car). It’s very close to Porto Moniz, place with natural swimming pools, perfect in the morning when there is not many tourists around. We visited a lot of places during our 13 days stay in Madeira and we enjoyed coming back to the house and relaxing every night .

Nice and comfortable place with home atmosphere.

Pros: The location is really good and place has a home atmosphere. All you may need during the stay is available in the house.

Cons: Less privacy is the housekeepers are at home.

Cons: Accommodation was perfect but there was poor bus connection from Achadas da Cruz direction Rebeira de Brava.

Pros: Ciekawe miejsce w nieoczywistej części wyspy. Piękny wygodny, bardzo dobrze wyposażony dom w bardzo ciekawej okolicy. Idealny dla miłośników natury oraz wiejskiego życia. Owce, kury, koty oraz psy sprawiają że to nie kolejny nudny hotel, to ciekawy local expirience. Bardzo sympatyczni gospodarze.
