A peaceful home away from home

Pros: The house was the perfect home for our time on Madeira. We liked the location in the southwest, from where we did all our daytrips. The view was phenomenal and the atmosphere quiet and peaceful. The house was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The communication with Vanessa was very good and friendly, she clearly also put effort into making the house very cozy. It was nice to have a big private parking lot which could be closed with a gate.

Cons: The street was very narrow, which felt a bit challenging (we got a bigger rental car than expected), but by going slowly and carefully, it was all fine and worked out well

Pros: Very nice and cosy house 😊 The owner has amazing taste and attention to details. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms and one more single bed, fireplace and terrace with breathtaking view. Felt really like home! Highly recommended.

Our beautiful holiday

Pros: We really liked it here, I appreciate the sense for decoration and older elements in the house. We felt very comfortable here, like at home and will definitely come back. Unforgettable is also the terrace and the view from it in the house there is absolutely everything you need, from shower shampons to kitchen appliances. The new device is air conditioning, so when it is colder outside, you can raise the temperature insaide The.internet is good in the living room next to the TV

Tolles Ferienhaus auf Madeira

Pros: Das Ferienhaus lädt ein zum Entspannen und Genießen. Hoch über den Dächern von Calheta bietet es einen traumhaften Blick auf Madeiras Küste. Das Haus war sehr sauber, komplett eingerichtet und herzlich für unsere Familie vorbereitet. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war stets zuverlässig, zuvorkommend und schnell. Da die Häuser an sich eher kühl sind, schaltete die Vermieterin vor Anreise sogar die Heizung für uns an - sehr zuvorkommend. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen für einen Urlaub auf Madeira.

Mooi karakteristiek huis

Pros: Het huis is prachtig, met mooie details zoals de stenen muren. Je hebt het hier zeker niet koud door de airconditioning die er hangt, die kan verwarmen en koelen. Prachtig uitzicht over het dorp, een stuk van de oceaan en de bergen. De bedden liggen goed. Je wordt goed geholpen als je vragen hebt. Een huis dat tenminste laat zien hoe hier ook geleefd wordt; in plaats van een sjiek hotel heeft dit veel meer karakter en sfeer

Cons: Oven en magnetron in de keuken zijn wel is aan vervanging toe . En aantal pannen mogen wel is worden vervangenen

Great stay, but house needs a little bit of investments.

Pros: It was nice experience. Very cozy location with great view in very good location. Perfect for 2 people as there is only one bathroom in master bedroom. Air conditions are in every room. Kitchen has all needed appliances incl. basic spices for cooking. Host was always available.

Cons: There are too many kitchenware, some of them are old and broken, better to have less but new and clean:) New pans are needed. Cleaning can be better, there were cobwebs in the house. Very high humidity level in the bathroom, dehumidifier is very needed there! Towels are not able to dry at all. During rain the ceiling is leaking above the stairs.

Pros: Nos gustó absolutamente todo, desde la ubicación, la delicadeza en la decoración. Nos sentimos en casa totalmente, bueno, ojalá nuestra casa fuera tan preciosa. La casa es tan acogedora como lujosa, tiene todo lo que alguien pueda necesitar, comodidad, cocina totalmente equipada, salón precioso, chimenea, exterior... Todo lo que quieras y más. Además, la hospilidad de Vanessa y Luis es indescriptible. We absolutely loved everything, from the location to the attention to detail in the décor. We felt completely at home—well, we wish our own home were this beautiful. The house is as cozy as it is luxurious, with everything anyone could possibly need: comfort, a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful living room, a fireplace… Everything you could want and more. Also, Vanessa and Luis’s hospitality is indescribable.

Cons: Nada, nos gustó absolutamente todo, sólo nos habría gustado estar muchos más días 😅. Nothing, we loved everything, we just couldn’t stay longer—we would have loved to spend many more days 😅.

Perfect

Pros: Das Haus war sehr sauber und sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir liebten den Aussenbereich welcher definitiv als Highlight zu sehen ist. Man kann wunderbar in der Hängematte oder bei Barbecue entspannen. Die Besitzer waren immer erreichbar bei Frage oder Anliegen, als Plus und Beispiel wurde nach dem wir Schwierigkeiten hatten in den Innenhof einzuparken, die Straße und ein Schlagloch mit Teer ausgefüllt sodass wir problemlos die nächsten Tage einparken konnten. Wir bedanken und für den erholsamen und wunderschönen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder!
