Lucilia's House

A very nice home from home for the week.

Pros: A fantastic property with great views. Very well presented and very well placed to explore that side of the island. The house was spacious and well laid out.

Cons: It would have been helpful if there were a few basics like salt, pepper, maybe a washing pod etc. Also, it is on a very steep hill which didn’t bother us at all, but worth knowing especially if you don’t have a car.

Pros: Most everything was very good. People very nice, close to grocery and town.

Cons: Very steep paved road to the house, a little confusing first trying to find it but the stores below gave helpful directions. Make sure you bring some shampoo, bar soap, salt and pepper. Minimal paper products there. House and kitchen great for 1 week stay. /

Great space both indoors and out.

Pros: Loved the space and the off-street parking. Lovely area, quiet and great outside space. The beds were really comfortable and the size of the main bedroom was really good. Loved sitting out enjoying the sunshine on an evening.

Cons: In the cooler and wetter weather, we couldn't leave windows open, so we had quite a bit of condensation and we struggled to dry hand towels. In normal weather not a problem.

Pros: Amazing house. Big garden with grill, giant bedroom , nice view.

Cons: Little things like coat hanger, shower mats..

House in good condition and well fitted out with good garden

Pros: location very good with beautiful view and garden The house was larger than we expected It was very clean

Cons: The kitchen could have a sieve and a dustpan and brush so we could sweep up It had a large broom .Also An electric fire or some form of heating as cold in the evening It was hard to find as the picture shows the house with the gate open and it was shut so it looked grey and you could not see the house .

Absolutely stunning

Pros: Clean, spacious house with a wonderful garden and spectacular view on the ocean. Lounge chairs in a garden and barbeque to enjoy outdoors meals. Nice and easy contact with owner, she was really helpful. Absolutety stunning place for relax, wish to come back soon :).

Cons: - nothing, everything was perfect

Lovely stay in a beautiful area

Pros: A great place for relaxing away from the city buzz, while still close to the main road. Have a whole house and garden for yourself. Very friendly communication and easy check-in and out.

Cons: While it has everything what’s needed for cooking and even a washing machine, it would’ve been great to have some small bits of salt, pepper or oil for cooking and some detergent.

Preciosa casa con vistas al mar y un gran jardín

Pros: Una casa muy grande, muy bonita decorada, todo muy limpio, un gran jardín y cerca de la playa de Calheta

Cons: Hubiera agradecido algún “kit” de bienvenida con algo de sal, aceite, etc. Pero es una opinión

Excelente!!! Expectativas superadas!

Pros: Tudo impecável, a casa está muito bem situada numa zona fora da confusão citadina, está num local super tranquilo, silencioso, com um supermercado e farmácia mesmo no final da rua de acesso. Tem um jardim com uma vista invejável! A casa equipada com tudo o que necessitamos para uma família de quatro, foi excelente , excedeu as nossas expectativas! Voltaremos certamente.

Cons: A única coisa que acrescentaria a esta casa quase perfeita seria umas cortinas blackout nos quartos para que a luz matinal não nos acorde logo ao raiar do dia… ajuda a sair da cama cedo e aproveitar a ilha, mas não deixa de ser um pouco desconfortável.

Ruim vrijstaand huis op goede locatie

Pros: De locatie van het huis was makkelijk te vinden. Het contact met de hostess was snel en duidelijk, de sleutels lagen klaar in de kluis waardoor wij al vroeg op de locatie konden zijn met een vroege aankomst. Vrijstaand ruim huis op een goede locatie.

Cons: Het huis bleek wat vochtig te zijn waardoor de was nauwelijks droog te krijgen was. De avonden waren vrij koud en helaas was er maar een kleine verwarming aanwezig die weinig warmte afgaf in de huiskamer. Last van kleine miertjes in de keuken waardoor wij genoodzaakt waren alles in de ijskast te plaatsen waar de mieren niet bij konden.
