Beautiful and clean property

Pros: We really liked our stay at this house. Everything was clean and there were even welcome gifts placed. We arrived late but keys were placed for us in a safe box. The view from the house is beautiful. The neighbourhood is quiet. Parking was available in front of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook. The beds are comfortable. The host is a very nice and helpful person. We will definitely come back.

Cons: Nothing.

Would stay here again without a doubt.

Pros: We (4 people, 9 nights) enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was lovely, accomodation had every single amenity we needed, even with additional, pleasant surprises we did not expect. Host - Vanda, was a lovely, kind and gracious host. I would definitely recommend anyone wishing to explore Madeira to consider this property and location, it is much better than staying at some hotel in Funchal :) Best regards, Ramunas

Lovely house with beautiful terrace

Pros: The house was an excellent place to stay! Very clean, mostly very well equipped and the view from the terrace was just gorgeous. It was great to have the pool to provide some entertainment for our 2 year old. Please note you must have a car to get to the property. There are no big shops nearby and the road up to the house was steep. This didn’t bother us though since we had planned to hire a car anyway.

Cons: The property had quite an ant problem.. you literally cannot leave any food out even for just a minute as it will be covered in ants. We had to pay extra for the pool heating, which we thought should have been included in the price. Even though we had very sunny November weather for the whole fortnight, the pool was still pretty chilly I must admit. We couldn’t 100% say whether the heating had been put on although the owner confirmed that it had. We couldn’t use the pool in the evenings due to dropping temperatures which was a shame given that we paid a lot of extra money for the heating. I believe the supplies could have been more generous - for example, we were only provided with 2 toilet rolls for 2 weeks and 4 bin bags. Given the ant issue, we had to take the bins out daily and I don’t think we should have to pay bin bags and toilet rolls at that price. There was also not washing detergent for the washing machine which we would have loved to use! Just one or two tablets would have been fine. But we didn’t want to buy a big pack of washing powder for one wash so took all our dirty laundry home which was a shame.

Entspannter Aufenthalt hoch über dem Meer

Pros: Das Haus ist sehr sauber und schön. Sehr bequeme Matratzen. Sehr praktisch auch die zweite Dusche am Pool

Cons: Die Straße war ab morgens 6 Uhr ziemlich laut.

Calheta

Pros: Le logement est très propre ,vraiment bien équipé !la piscine géniale !

Cons: Nouvelle route !Ça roule mais pas trop gênante malgré tout !

Un séjour très agréble et reposant.

Pros: bonne emplacement.il est agréable d'utiliser la piscine et l'extérieur et la véranda pour manger.

Cons: la proximité avec la route mais qui au finale n'est pas très gênante.

Wunderbare Tage auf Madeira

Pros: Schönes, kleines Haus oberhalb von Calheta, ausreichend für 2 Personen. Gut ausgestattete Küche mit allem, was man so im Urlaub braucht. Nachdem das Wetter nicht wirklich warm war, haben wir sehr gerne abends ein Feuer im Kamin gemacht. Schön war auch das zweite Bad direkt am Pool. Schönes Aussicht auf die Umgebung und das Meer. Perfekte Kommunikation mit Vanda, die im Vorfeld und auch während wir dort waren sofort geantwortet hat.

Cons: Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es für die Straße unterhalb des Hauses, die Nachts kaum zu hören war, aber in der Früh wurden wir doch davon geweckt, dass sie dann sehr stark befahren war.

Tolles Haus mit Meerblick

Pros: Wir waren von dem Häuschen sehr begeistert, besonders aber vom Pool und der tollen Terrasse. Der Pool war trotz dessen, dass es schon November ist noch so warm, wir brauchten keine Heizung. Ein Tipp von Vanda, abends die Abdeckung drauf lassen! Die Aussicht mit Meerblick haben wir genossen. Abends hatten wir wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen. Das Bett hatte eine gute Matratze und gute Kissen, dass man sehr gut schlafen konnte (auch wenn ich das Metallgestell nicht so mochte, etwas unpraktisch um im Bett sitzend noch zu lesen). Für uns besonders wichtig, es war sehr sauber! Wenn der nächste Madeira Urlaub ansteht werden wir wiederkommen. Auch Familie und Freunden würden wir dieses Haus empfehlen. Wir sagen \

Pros: L'emplacement est parfait, proche de commerce, restaurant, sentier de randonnée, de la plage et de Funchal. Il y a une place de parking Nombreux équipements a disposition dans le logement, pour la cuisine, pour la piscine et pour la salle de bain. Très bien entretenu, propre Avec une super vue et couché de Soleil
