Pros: Great spot for discovering the way-marked walks in a beautiful part of Portugal.

Pros: Very big space, clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Welcoming hosts.

Cons: The rooms are very dark, not much natural light is getting in.

Quiet retreat

Pros: spacious, comfy little house for 2 But fits 4. Great to be able to cook our own food for a few days, kitchen had everything we wanted. Nice hosts, quiet area, nice walks and beach a few km away on a bumpy road.

Cons: our house didn't have a view but the one next to it has a lovely glass door facing south. It has a Nespresso machine but no pods and a stove top pot. Booking.com need to have a coffee machine category. otherwise we had a great stay

Comfy accommodation out in the beautiful countryside

Pros: Beautiful country accommodation on family property, meticulously clean and comfortable. Large rooms, clean and quiet. Very comfy bed, with nice window. Kitchen was large with big dining table and even an interesting wood oven built into the wall. Close to many surfing beaches where you could rent surf equipment right on the beach, one in particular was Praia do Amado. Beautiful! Wish we had stayed longer as my husband loved the surfing.

Peaceful and quiet, away from the crowds. Had all the basics.

Pros: Quiet and away from the buzz of southern Portugal. Private unit, with cooking facilities.

Cons: The hosts’ lack of contact, the elderly parents were so nice, but we weren’t greeted or oriented to the property, offered tips or even checked in if we were ok. We didn’t even found them on our last day and had to pay to someone who was there, seemed to have been family.

A heavenly retreat

Pros: If you love it tranquil and rural, this is the place to stay when in the area. A car is needed to explore the beautiful places like mountainous Monchique and the gorgeous beaches.

Wonderful place, beautiful apartment with a peaceful atmosphere in a small village close to the sea.

Pros: Great location in a peaceful village, not far from sea. The apartment and the whole property were really nice, the hosts lived nextdoor and were very kind. We loved the peaceful atmosphere of the place. The apartment was big enough and we were absolutely satisfied with the interior.

Cons: The location would be very hard to reach without a car and there are no shops in the village, so car is really a necessity.

One of the most peaceful places

Pros: Very peaceful place. We look forward to come again. Only 700 m from the fishermen’s trail.

Pros: Nice clean apartment opening on to a well kept vegetable garden in a pleasant rural setting on route to the lovely Figueiras beach. The grounds were very well kept. A good place to explore the unspoilt beaches in the region by car.

Cons: We had an early check in which was great and after wondering around for a while we’re eventually shown to our apartment by a young girl After which no one ever came to us to in 4 days to provide any information on the accommodation or area despite messages being sent. There were several family members wandering around but it felt like we were being avoided. There’s also no information in the room on where the washing machine was or the restaurants or beaches in the area which resulted in us getting lost on narrow dirt roads to get to the beach by following google maps which was wrong. . The kitchen was fine but lacked wine glasses and a jug to boil water. Cash payment only.
