Pros: Glutenfree pancake , dining area available in24hr , healthy food on breakfast table, very friendly stuff.

Cons: Toilett smells a bit, guess the pipeline system in the mountine environment is not ideal.

Pros: Amazing views, comfy and clean rooms, awesome common area to heat your dinner or have a cup of coffee or wine. Plenty of amazing places nearby, but you need a car even to go to a restaurant. We used the sauna as well and it was surprisingly a propper nice and hot sauna.

Cons: Only thing i could mention is that the sauna did not have a separate private cooling shower, which made it almost impossible to cool down propperly. That is a very minor thing considering madeira is almost a tropical retreat.

Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, heated pool

Pros: We 100% recommend staying here! The staff are so friendly, the location is quiet and peaceful, the views from every angle are incredible, and the breakfast is the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. We were also able to use a coffee machine and kettle 24/7, and a microwave, plates etc to make our own meal. There’s a large living room where you can sit to read a book or play board games. The pool is heated and was a treat to use after a big day of hiking (as well as their sauna). Others have mentioned difficulty driving to the hotel - we had no problem at all and were able to leave our car safely at the multiple designated parking spots. It was a short 4min drive to town. It is 100% worth paying a little more to stay here. You won’t regret it. This is a home away from home.

Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect

Pros: A lovely accomodation in Sao Vicente, having a car is essential. Very kind and helpful personnel who really care about your well being and rooms are clean. Breakfast with local sourced product and good variety. Highly recommended accomodation!

Fantastic stay

Pros: Everything ! The peace, quiet and tranquility, but staff still always on hand for anything if needed. Very comfortable beds. The view from our room was unbelievable. Really liked that the food is home grown. Loose leaf tea to help yourself too. Fire always lit in lounge. Was so cosy. They made my birthday very special. A huge thank you

Cons: I liked everything, some people mentíon the steep road - it isn’t bad and the property has ample parking. Roads to the area not bad at all - even though it was a storm

Peaceful and relaxing

Pros: Beautiful location, delicious breakfast and nice swimming pool. We loved the garden full of vegetables and local flora. The place is run with attraction to details and cleanness.

Cons: I couldn’t stay longer there :)

Pros: Beautiful hotel with magnificent views across the valley. Spacious rooms with all amenities. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely pool area and a sauna that is available to book for a small additional charge.

Nice peaceful spot

Pros: It's a lovely hotel, eco, staff are friendly and professional

Cons: The lane up to the hotel is narrow but other than that I couldn't fault it at all. It's in a peaceful spot and good for a night for someone touring the whole island

Hanging garden of Madeira

Pros: The garden is beautiful, the atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet. The food of the breakfast is grown from their garden and everything is delicious and organic.

Pros: Friendly and casual atmosphere. Peaceful surroundings and amazing scenery. Excellent breakfast provisions.
