Casa Alegria

Perfect, even for longer stays.

Pros: The house was beautiful, nice terrase for a morning coffee with a view of the whole Funchal. As we visited in winter, the decorations and lights around the city were amazing and we even had a xmas three! The house had everything we needed, even extra! And the landlade was incredibly helpful, always reachable and very kind.

Cons: We came in winter so the house was a bit cold, however, the rooms had electric heaters that helped! You have to have a car as the house is further on the hill (but honestly, you really need to rent a car in Madeira anyway, so np).

Pros: This house is very cozy and convenient for a big family. You have everything you need in the kitchen. Irene was very hospitable and helpful.

Pros: I was surprised by how nice this place is and the host, Irene, is very kind. Ideal for families, absolutely all the facilities you would need and close to public transport, and the view is spectacular, as I think you will discover in Madeira

housekeeper is very nice lady, communicative, offered any help at all times, excellent in English

Pros: Beautiful place with nice view to city, port and sea

Cons: Parking place is stressful

Beautiful place up the mountain with a great view.

Pros: Spacious, clean, and everything we needed was there.

Amazing place to stay with beautiful view, far from the noise, ideal for families.

Pros: - The house is packed with kitchen appliances, towels and other electronics - The owner is helpful, and is always making sure your stay is pleasant.

Pros: Everything. Specially the View and barbecue area was Awesome. The host (Irene) was always available for any questions we had, and she is super friendly. As it was our parent's anniversary we also received a little surprise from the host, which was amazing.! The house provided comfort , it was like home away from home. The area is quite calm and hilly.

Cons: I think, the house could have had shampoo/body wash. And as our stay was a long one, maybe few more toilet papers. But it was super fine for us as we had to do our grocery shopping and we bought everything at once. :)

Pros: We had the most incredible experience staying at this villa in Madeira. The view of the ocean was simply wooow, something you could never get tired of. It truly felt like we were welcomed into someone’s home rather than just a rental property. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the villa was equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay and even more! A special thank you for the lovely surprise gift basket, it was such a warm and thoughtful touch. This place exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a magical stay in Madeira!

Amazing holiday.

Pros: The Host is very hospitable. I have never met such helpful and kind person. Every day asked if we need anything. The apartment is extremely comfortable. Three bedrooms, spacious living room, two bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Amazing views from balkony, car park and bus stop next to the apartment. There is everything what we need. I really recommend this place.

Pros: Nice location with great view of Funchal and the ocean. I really enjoyed the early morning ocean views from one of the 3 terraces! Can just recommend the place. Appartment is large with 3 full bedrooms, it was comfortable for 6 people. Also the large lobby is very convenient for some stuff which you do not need inside. Great communication with the owner via Whatsapp, thank you. Public transport to the Funchal centre takes 20 minutes and the last stop of bus no. 42 is just under the appartment.

Cons: The bus is just under the windows so you can hear it in the morning. Not my case, but someone who wants to sleep longer may be little bit disturbed.
