Good value for money. If you are not looking for anything fancy just simple room with bed to sleep and hot shower.

Pros: The closeness to the centre to the old town, to the shopping market to the busses, the roof terrace - the views are stunning. Spend there every evening watching sunset

Cons: The breakfast could be more interesting but coffee was good which is the most important part of the breakfast

Pros: Location was very good close to everything, and the bed confortable The room was big , clean. Breakfast I like it, fresh bread rolls every day, coffee machine for my espresso. In reception stuff was very friendly and helpful

Good for party people

Pros: + Good location + The room was well cleaned, bedding and towels were fresh + Staff was nice, no problem with talking in English + The terrace is amazing! + Breakfast was good, bread, toast, butter, jam, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, cookies. + I came 2 hours before check-in as I wanted to leave my bags, my room was ready and I could check-in early even though I didn't request it beforehand :)

Cons: - Unfortunately there's bar on the bottom of the building, it's very loud at night and the windows don't block the noise at all - The toilet valve was closed when I entered my bathroom, turns out if you open it to flush the toilet, it starts making wheezing sounds after a few minutes, very weird - Shower was a little clogged, the water was going down but quite slowly

Pros: Alojamento Centrale II is in a perfect location, close to all the central attractions - the cathedral, the town hall and the distillery for Madeira wine tasting. Quiet and cozy place to stay in Funchal. The terrace is a wonderful place to relax with a magnificent view of the city and the ocean!

Cons: The breakfast is simple but typical for the region, as I have been to different places in Madeira. But there are different types of bread, ham, cheese, butter, cereals, yogurt, fruits, etc. It is quite enough.
