Madeira’s gem

Pros: Situated near Barcelos viewpoint in the breathtaking area of Funchal, it gave us unparalleled goosebumps especially at night when the lights show begins. We loved everything starting with a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room, top notch barbecue, the pool and terraces with plenty of tables and chairs. The en-suite bathroom made the birthday of one of us, a celebration to remember. There are a few shops and a supermarket nearby, however renting a car is a must due to the area’s specifics, meaning that there’s a lot walking up and down hill which will consume valuable energy without a vehicle at hand. The villa offers one the best views of Madeira, aka the Hawaii of Europe, in the most populated part of the island Funchal.

Perfect stay, hoping to return to the property next year

Pros: The property was spacious and clean with nice interior, felt really comfortable. The whole outside area with the pool decking and barbecue was brilliant and gave us a great way to spend some time in the sun or have a night in. Views of the mountains, Funchal and the sea, lots to look at! António was super nice and accommodating as well

Fabulous Funchal

Pros: Amazing views, fabulous sun deck and pool, a bbq area.

Cons: Beds were too hard for us. Other than that it was great.

Pros: Still remember the host that welcomed us while we were there what a nice lad he was. Made us feel welcomed. The view is insane and yes you get your own pool. The place was also clean, tidy, spacious and modern. Great stay!

Perfect place in Funchal with stunning view

Pros: the accommodation is superb! every day and every evening the view towards Funchal enchants you. The pool is large, there is also a barbecue with a place to eat and a fully equipped indoor kitchen! We were 4 people and we felt great! the host was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed.

N’hésitez pas la maison en vaut la peine

Pros: La maison avait une vue incroyable sur Funchal, il y avait tout le nécessaire dans les chambres, plusieurs salles de bain et toilettes et une terrasse magnifique avec sa piscine. Le rapport qualité prix était très intéressant.

Huge villa with incredible views

Pros: We absolutely LOVED the house. It is huge, spans about 4 floors in total. It's beautiful, well-kept, it has an incredible view of Funchal and an awesome pool! We were super happy with the bbq facilities, the terraces, which we used to have brunch and dinner outside with an exceptional view!

Cons: We had a few cockroaches and ants. The ants were the bigger issue, as they would attack any food that would be left outside the fridge or not properly closed. Our bread and biscuits were filled with ants until we moved them inside the oven, to protect them. Anything left out on the table was ants' property.

Pros: Très belle maison, belle piscine et vue magnifique (maison juste en dessous du pico de barcelos), tres propre, grande, bien équipés, les photos du site reflètent exactement la réalité, très bel accueil de l hôte, les petits problèmes rencontrés ont vite été réglés. Aucun problème pour se garer dans la rue, centre ville à 10 minutes en voiture.

Cons: Seul petit défaut : la maison est au dessus d un des axes routier qui traverse Funchal et on entend la route depuis la terrasse. Surement comme une grosse partie des maisons de Funchal vu la configuration de la ville. En revanche, aucun bruit dans la maison quand les fenêtres sont fermées. Nous nous sommes habitués et au vu de la qualité de la prestation et du prix, la maison mérite largement son 10.

Localização e Condições excelentes

Pros: Localização excelente, fora da confusão, mas perto de tudo! Vista panorâmica... Fácil check in, a qualquer hora o que nos ajudou muito tendo em conta a hora que chegamos!! Casa excelente para quem quiser relaxar um bocado, embora não tenha sido o nosso caso, percebemos que é excelente para esse fim... O sr. António foi bastante amável, deixou-nos alguns produtos típicos da região como cortesia!
