Just amazing. If we return to Funchal one day we will come back to this place without hesitation!
Pros: The Quinta was amazing! Large apartments, very clean, beautiful gardens and pool area. The receptionist was so kind and very helpful. The place is perfect to go down to Funchal centre. Very quiet area too. Swimming pool amazing too!
Cons: Apartments are a bit noisy when neighbors do not pay attention.

Good value for money
Pros: Stay friendly and helpful, swimming pool excellent (if a little cold), food was nice from the clubhouse. Apartment was spacious.
Cons: A few Ants around the kitchen area but dealt with promptly by the staff The sofa bed didn't have supporting legs on the first night so was flimsy. The bed was fixed the next day once reported. Location as advertised but needed a taxi from the old town back up to the apartments due to the hills.Thought our room was advertised as sea view but we couldn't see it from our balcony on the ground floor.

Pros: Well-maintained garden area with swimming pool and bar. Spacious apartment, terrace with ocean view. Room service, regular change of towels and sheets. Convenient parking.
Cons: The furniture in the apartment could use some updating. The sofa bed had seen better days, it was in poor condition. The kitchen and dressers would also deserve modernization.

Pros: The apartment is located in a hilly area, about 1.4 km from the city promenade, market and shop, so expect a steep climb. The apartment is spacious, has a small pool, and has a beautiful and well-kept area.

A great location with a nice pool, if you don't want to be among modern hotels
Pros: The location meant the view was very good and I enjoyed watching the cruise ships come and go. I really appreciated the closeness to the bus stop so I could easily travel up and down the hill with little effort. But for me the biggest attraction was the swimming pool and I made the most of having it available.
Cons: Nothing really, although I think others might have found the beds a bit too firm. They were OK for me.

Cons: Very limited kitchen equipment. We did not even have a cutting board. The whole complex however was a little aged and old

A hidden gem.
Pros: Beautiful views, very well maintained gardens and apartments very clean. Equipped with all you need. Nice bar with small snack menu. Pool area well kept and inflatables left for kids. Very quiet small hotel.
Cons: Location up a steep hill, and would be a challenge to walk in the heat. Bus outside and also plenty of Ubers. Not too much around the area. A nice cafe close by and small shop but would have to walk into the city for bars and restaurants. Would recommend a car to explore the area and easy parking on site.

Lovely Quinta in Funchal, perfect location to relax but also to visit the rest of lovely Madeira
Pros: Very nice Quinta, big, fully equipped appartment, very clean and very good beds. A lot of green with very relaxing pool and lounge area's, and good parking facilities. Nice to be able to order breakfast, quality was very good. Very fiendly owner and personel.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit older but for example the shower is fantastic (even if it is located in the bath)! The owner also knows this. Going on foot to the centre is a bit further away especially with the steep streets but in return you are in a quiet area with lovely view and parking facilities. We took our rental car to go to the centre.

Pros: Appartment was clean and comfortable with a garden view. Property is well maintained, calm and there are many flowers and fruit trees. Large swimmingpool with a small bar for a beer. We loved our stay here! PS: 15-20 min steep walk from funchal to the appartment, but fine when you do it once a day. There is a bakery and supermarket within a 5 min walk
