Quintinha dos Reis

Pros: Spacious apartment with a large garden and fruit trees – we ate mangoes thanks to the friendly host. Beautiful views of Funchal and plenty of space to relax. The apartment is very good for families with children. Good transport links to the city center via bus number 32.

Great views of Funchal and neat apartment

Pros: Great view of the city of Funchal. Outdoor space was good. Kitchen facilities very good. We found the location quite convenient although the walk back up to the flat from the city was steep - save some energy to get back up the hill!

Cons: Bathroom was quite small and could do with a freshen up in the shower area. Beds were quite narrow and the pillows hard.

We traveled with children, a total of 7 people, and the accommodation was absolutely perfect for us. Breakfast on the up

Pros: location, facilities, welcome, terrace, view, two bathrooms, communication with the owner

Cons: there is nothing like that

Great stay with a great view.

Pros: Brilliant outdoor space with a great view - about a 25 minutes walk from the bottom but was fine for us or can get a very cheap taxi or bus back up. Worth it for the view, would be tough if you are in poor health or very unfit. Good, clear, helpful and friendly communication Loads of space and facilities Really Good price for the size

Cons: Mattress was a bit firm for me but just a personal taste still slept fine.

Lovely comfortable property with fabulous views

Pros: Beautiful spacious property with fabulous views . A very special place

Cons: All good

Unforgettable

Pros: A beautiful house with a big yard with breathtaking views of the city. The rooms were fine and the kitchen was clean.

Cons: For 5 or more people, the space in the fridge is not enough, and we didn’t have enough pans and other equipment to cook properly for 5 people. There was an Insect plague in the bathroom. That was not good.

Amazing stay! Very helpful host, stunning views from the big teras, clean and functional!

Pros: The location and views were amazing! The host was very friendly and helpful which we really appreciated. The house was clean and the size perfect. Best part is 100% the teras!

Pros: Lovely house with a large two-story terrace, from which there are separate entrances to the bedrooms and the kitchen. A very beautiful view of the city and the waterfront. The house had everything we could need: coffee, detergent, first aid kit, b-day candles, ice, foil, napkins. We were amazed, thank you very much!

Cons: The only nuances for us were the humidity and smell in the bedrooms, but these are climate features. And one should be prepared for that.

Pros: Great location, near center, great accomodation and communication with host. Excellent terrace, view and vibe

Great place to rest

Pros: It's nicely located with beautiful view. It's spacious for two people. The host was open for all the needs we had. Once we arrived there was Madeira wine, bottles of water and bunch of local Bananas. Nice surprise :)

Cons: Ants in the kitchen, but lets be honest its everywhere in that kind of apartments. There was some problems with Internet range (in some of the rooms we had some problems with this), but overall we could use It once we were close to router.
