10/10 highly recommend! Right in front of ocean. Clean bright comfortable. Super friendly hosts!

Pros: Everything. Beautiful, comfortable apartments. Amazing hosts, super helpful. Great location. Great views to ocean.

Cons: The bed is not the most comfortable, but ok for a short holiday length stay.

Great place to stay in Paul Do Mar

Pros: Really nice apartment in a great location, we stayed there for a couple of weeks. There is everything you need in the apartment, the kitchen is very well equipped, there is seperate loundry room. Staff are super friendly and professional. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back.

Cons: We had a minor hiccup with the AC not working, but the staff put all the effort to solve it. So all good :)

Pros: Lovely and cosy studio, next by the ocean! Easy and prompt communication with owners. Clean and good value for the location. Much appreciated the welcoming wine and cookies😊

Feeling at home in Madeira

Pros: We liked the quiet feel of the village. Near the sea. On a dead end road. Few good restaurants and a supermarket. All we needed was there, including banana trees and friendly cats.

The sound of the winter waves was amazing. The village was charming. Such a lovely base to relax.

Pros: Location first of all, then the size, convenience and general atmosphere were all lovely. Finally the extra touch of having bikes provided for free. Fantastic.

Cons: Only a small suggestion, because it really was such a lovely place overall… The lights were a bit bright, some softer mood lighting (side lights or dimmer switches) for the evening would be a wonderful addition.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at Villas Renacer in Paul do Mar. The location is amazing – right next to the ocean and surrounded by beautiful mountains. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

Pros: Comfortable, well equiped, the owners are kind and welcoming.

A lovely little holiday home with a gorgeous view of the sunset and it was extremely well equipped.

Pros: The property is right on the beach with a gorgeous view of the sunset. The rooms were well equipped. The water pressure in the taps and showers was excellent and the fan was good.

Cons: Ants on the floor.

Nice property in quiet neighbourhood, held back by a few issues

Pros: Nice recently renovated building in a very safe and relatively quiet neighbourhood. The exterior has been completed to a high standard with smooth paving, a grassy area with loungers, a BBQ area, nice greenery/plants and ample parking. There is also a washing machine. The apartment was very clean, had a powerful shower with plenty of hot water and a range of small cooking appliances. Clothes storage, ironing board, iron. Easy check in/out with key safe.

Cons: As there is no air conditioning it would have been nice to have the windows open all day/night, however, there is no insect netting on the windows and so this is discouraged. There were also quite a lot of ants in certain areas; they are very small and didn't bother us but others may be more concerned; recommend better ant killer and sealing their access holes. The water drainage in the shower is weak and it can overflow the tray if used on full power. There is no roller blind on the kitchen window which faces directly into the parking area which can create a lack of privacy if other guests happen to be walking by at a sensitive time. Hopefully the owner can resolve these issues relatively cheaply for future guests, as it is clear they have put a lot of care and effort into renovating the property.
