Gomes house

Very nice, tidy and well equipped house with a great view. Very nice owner!

Pros: Very nice house with a lot of space. Well equipped kitchen will facilities. The house was very tidy and clean. Very nice terrace outside of the living room with a great view of the sea and the valley.

Cons: The house is close to a steep road. You depend on having a car for transportation. The garage door is controlled by a remote, which helps a lot when entering and leaving the building.

Good value nice host big house

Pros: So close to amazing hikes and to the beach as well. Can drive straight into the garage from the road

Pros: Everything in the accommodation was clean and tidy, it corresponded to the photos and description. There was a large garage available. The owner was very nice and helpful. We would definitely come back.

We had an amazing stay, the house was clean and spacious, the views were breathtaking and the location was perfect to mo

Pros: Antonio (and Dora) are great hosts, they were very kind and willing to help if the need arised. The house was spacious and confortable, and the rooms were clean and wide. There is the basic equipment in the kitchen to cook. The location to move around Madeira is perfect, it is close to several beaches and well communicated to go to the north of the island.

Cons: The location in Ponta do Sol is fabulous but the house is very close to the road. The entrance to the house is just as you turn a curve, so you have to go slowly to not go pass it. There are three bathrooms but there is not enough hot water (or pressure?) to use them simultaneously.

Pros: Gomes house was in close location to ponta do sol and had good facilities close by. The garage was really handy. Beautiful views from the terrace to enjoy coffee on a sunny morning.

Cons: All was fine but a coffee maker or cafetiere would have been good to provide.

Definitely recommend the stay, very close to the city but very calm

Pros: The house was big and has space for a big group of six people. We had all facilities needed to cook. The garage was big enough to accommodate two cars (3 if they are small).

Cons: It should have some basics for cooking (olive oil, salt, pepper)

Pros: Were able to book super spontaneous, local Staff was kind, patient and in general nice

Cons: There are 3 showers but only one good one + showering simultaneously is ab Bad idea temperature wise. Just use the shower on the ground floor

Good location, nice owners but on busy road.

Pros: Spacious house, close to the beach. The houseowners are very helpful and kind.

Cons: It’s right next to the busy road. Truck and cars. Noise and pollution. No fault of the owners but it’s the fact. No tropical paradise

Lovely place, comfortable and great for relaxing and taking in the views.

Pros: Nice property, amazing hosts provided a welcome basket with essentials, very much appreciated and a lovely gesture. Amazing views of the valley, good area within balcony/terrace for dining al fresco.

Cons: n/a

I would highly recommend this holiday house for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation.

Pros: Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with close proximity to a mid-sized supermarket and a charming small town. The house itself offered ample space, with separated bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it ideal for a full family. The garage was a convenient addition, and the two terraces provided lovely spots to relax with chairs and a table. The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus, and we appreciated the welcome package. The local staff was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons: The only drawback was the moderate traffic on the road adjacent to the house, but it didn't significantly impact our enjoyment.
