Pros: Very well-equipped apartment with kind hosts. We got wine, fruits and biscuits as a gift. The view is amazing as São Vicente is surrounded by mountains.

Beautiful valley

Pros: Stayed in November for hiking as it is cooler, yet still in the twenties. The house is much bigger than it looks and two of us stayed for a very enjoyable week. The house is in an incredibly beautiful valley with gorgeous views. It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The host and mother live near by and are very friendly. They invited us to make cous cous with them which was a real eye opener. We had a rental car which was very cheap and makes it easy to tour the island. We hiked PR17 which is not for the faint hearted but has waterfalls and tunnels, PR8 by the coast which has fabulous views, PR6 which also has beautiful waterfalls and Fanal Forest also known as the cloud forest, very magical. In addition we visited Funchal for the gardens and some shopping, swam in the natural sea pools and visited the valley of the nuns.

Warm stay with beautiful landscape

Pros: It was the warmest welcome that We’ve ever experienced. This little surprises made our stay to uniqe. The house is beautiful and clean in and out, and the lotchen is very well equipped. We only spent 5 nights here but we wished we would have booked full of our stay in Madeira to this house and its beautiful landscape.

Wonderful peaceful.

Pros: Incredible location up the valley from São Vincent. Really thoughtfully appointed, had everything you needed nearby. Very safe and private, with great views morning and evening.

Pros: La ubicación genial, centro norte de la isla, el lugar esta bien comunicado con casi toda la isla, las instalaciones muy completas con todo lo necesario. El anfitrión muy majo y servicial. Ideal para turismo campestre y tranquilo.
