The apartment was nice, but located a bit far from the center. Finding cockroaches made the stay a bit uneasy.
Pros: The parking was easy, apartment had room and nice view s.
Cons: There were cockroaches in the apartment, one really big one scared the kids on Christmas. We’ve been to Madeira 5 times and this was the first place we encountered cockroaches. Had to keep all food in the fridge, seal everything and take trash out frequently to avoid them.

Celebrating my sisters 50th
Pros: The villa was amazing, clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The welcome cake and madeira wine was lovely. Sadly didn't use the restaurant, bar or pool as we didn't have the energy to walk up the hill!! But enjoyed relaxing on the patio.
Cons: We couldn't find where to check in and our taxi driver asked a lovely cleaner who got in her van for us to follow to the golf shop! As the reception half way down the resort is closed on weekends! Check in instructions need to be a lot clearer ! Would of expected a little bit of tea, coffee, sugar and milk as a welcome gift in the price! But we did have cake and madeira wine waiting for us. We didn't have a car but used Bolt and would be around 8 euros to the cable car area.

Comfortable, luxury apartment with all amentities and breathtaking views
Pros: Close to Funchal, nice apartment, fully equipped, swimming pool, very clean, gated community with a feeling of added comfort and safety. Parking place is a huge benefit on this island. Palheiro has plenty of comfortable parking. Breathtaking view from the balcony and the terrace.
Cons: We liked everything.

Palheiro village apartment - a gem not to be missed
Pros: Loved the location, the apartment, the view, the service. All was top notch.
Cons: Extremely minor but there was no washing machine powder/tabs provided in the apartment - would be great if it could be provided

Pros: The stay at this place was amazing . Everything was beyond any expectations. There was an amazing ocean view from all sides of the villa . There is also a spa in the resort which unfortunately we didn’t had time to visit it. , the restaurant as well had great and delicious food . They also have a golf field and the experience was amazing . I highly recommend this place to anyone .
Cons: One small mention , the first day we arrived we didn’t have hot water but they fixed it the day after .

Pros: The location is amazing - a little bit distant from the city center, very quite, with excellent view and green surroundings. The proximity to the gardens, nice Tea House, and Oxalis restaurant, made it perfect.

Pros: Lovely location; beautiful homes and so spacious and comfortable.
Cons: Wish there were oil and basic seasonings (salt and pepper) in the kitchen but the grocery store is very close by so was not a big problem at all!

Great views!
Pros: The view from the apartment was wonderful, especially to watch the sunset on the balcony. The quality of the meals and view from the Golf Course restaurant was amazing!
Cons: The resort felt dated, the gym was tiny and a long way away from the accommodation which was disappointing- the pool here was dry. The games room was old too. The apartment was a good size but there was no tea or coffee or washing sachets provided or shampoo etc which for accommodation of this price you would expect. The maids turned up unexpectedly 3 days into our stay to clean our room.
