Casas de Campo do Pomar B&B - Self Check-in

Situated in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of Madeira, Casas de Campo do Pomar B&B - Self Check-in is surrounded by an extensive tropical garden. The north of Madeira is more humid than the rest of the island. Esp. during the rainy season humidity is high also in the apartments. The beginning of the Madeira Levada walks start 6 km from the property. The air-conditioned villas and rooms are all equipped with a kitchenette and cable TV. Each of the rooms boasts a private patio with mountainous views and some come with a hammock. We are a bed and breakfast offering a simple but nice breakfast on side from 8.00 - 10.00am. Our check-in is contactless and beginning at 3pm making also late arrivals possible. The property is situated in a blooming garden inhabited by a few cats. There are many stairs on the property therefore it's not accessible to people with disabilities.

Pros: Really liked the countryside feeling, fresh air and silence. Also Claudia was very nice, calm and understanding..

Pros: Nice cottage in garden setting. Breakfast was very good en staff attentive. Beds are fine and all was clean. Santana itself is a good base for exploring the region, but it is a very sleepy town.

Cons: The kitchen is oke to prepare a simple meal, but its small and basic.

Lovely peaceful place to stay!

Pros: I loved the peaceful atmosphere, lovely view from our room. Bed was super comfy, the room was clean. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were friendly. What else could I ask for?

Pros: Great location to explore the area and do some of the walks. Very peaceful too, with own outdoor area. Nice breakfast too, very friendly staff

Cons: We had a small leak in our room, but they fixed it as quickly as they could!
