Amazing place to stay

A wonderful place to relax with a beautiful view

Pros: The stunning view from the terrace, perfect for watching sunsets and relaxing after a full day of sightseeing. The owner, Raquel, was incredibly kind and very helpful. Check-in and check-out were perfectly smooth. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Although not large, it felt very spacious and comfortable, not claustrophobic at all. Cons: The mattress was very, very soft, which we found wasn't conducive to a regenerative sleep. There are very friendly and sociable cats on the property. While charming, allergy sufferers must take this into consideration. The kitchen equipment was generally good, but a few more mugs and wine glasses would have been useful. The teflon pan was very badly scratched and definitely needs replacing. The other steel pan was difficult to use (food kept sticking). Keep in mind that the driveway to the property is quite steep and requires caution, although the spacious parking at the top fully compensates for this. This location is definitely best suited for those traveling by car.

Pros: Stunning view, very clean, all you need was there. Very large bed (to hard for us but it's only our preference). Nice terrace to watch ocean and sunset. We decided not to have a car and it worked pretty well, we walked alot and ordered Bolt if needed, also have a bus stop on next street. Owner was lovely, just proved that you don't need English language to make you feel comfortable and welcoming.

Fairtytale house in Madeira

Pros: Great place for visiting Madeira! House is like a fairytale, such a beauty! We really enjoyed our stay. Nights full of light all around, ocean view in the morning with rooster singing. In the house you can get everything needed, for us there was coffee, tea, washing liquids, shower gel, things for cooking. Basically all for a great stay. Everything was clean and so cosy, everything was spacious and so private. Really nice host. :)) We enjoyed our late evenings with wine, I also put my workout music and did my workouts in the morning with a great view, absolutely stunning. Everything is nearby with a car. Great location and wonderful views to the ocean

Pros: Great location in Ribeira Brava on the topp of the hill. Wonderful ocean views. Amazing place to explore the island. The location is very good to visit the West and South of the island, any place would less than 40 mn drive. It suited us because we were very active, hiking and exploring Madeira. The house was incredible, apartement is large and the very wide bed is very comfortable, the pillows too! The kitchen is superbly equipped. In one word - absolutely everything we needed was there. A terrace where you can sit and watch the sunset. You can park your car at the house in front of the door. The entrance to the property is very steep, but very well planned and no problem driving up. That you can drive to the door, is a luxury here in the mountains. We thank the kind hostess Raquel for her warm welcome. It was such a nice and warm and simple. We definitely recommend. Cons: It's good to know that the evenings are very windy and cool here in Aprill, the villa is located on a high mountain. But this is Madeira, this wonderful Madeira.

A superb option to stay in Madeira

Pros: Wonderful location on the top of the hill in a very quiet place. The appartent is large and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is superbly equipped with kitchen tools. Bathroom is also great. The owner was very kind as well. Easy parking. No worries about the access by car despite of what we read in some comments. Yes, the road is steep but not more than many other streets in Madeira, and in no way dangerous but you have to arrive by the the upper side of the road (pass the Amalo shop first and then turn right two times) to make it safer. About breakfast, we recommend to visit Ponto de Encontro in Campanario on the way to the express road. The location is very good to visit the West and South of the island (any place would less less than 40 mn drive). The East is a bit further, but still doable in the day.

Cons: In case of bad weather, this place can be rather windy.

Pros: Everything was perfect, the owner is super nice and welcoming.
