Perfect hidden gems in Lagos

Pros: The staff were so lovely, location to the coast was perfect and about a 15 minute walk into the beautiful old town

Lovely clean hotel with lots of character

Pros: The hotel has lots of character, the outdoor areas like the pool and restaurant area was lovely. Inside is more old school and traditional beach hotel vibes. Very clean, staff were so helpful and friendly.

Cons: The beds weren't the most comfortable I have slept in and it was a good walk to restaurants or an uber ride away

Pros: It was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent and the pool Was very clean and spacious surroundings

Cons: The gym only consists of a cross trainer, a basic treadmill, a basic exercycle and a few light dumbbells.

Cozy Lagos Retreat

Pros: This is a pretty cozy and small boutique hotel in Lagos. It's very near most beaches, but a quick trip by car is recommended as some beaches require a long walk up a hill. The hotel is nice and clean. Be aware that street parking isn't guaranteed. The staff were very helpful and nice to us; even if some didn't speak perfect Portuguese, English was always an option.

Cons: The breakfast was a bit of a letdown—one day the croissants were really stale, which was a minor annoyance. Plus, the shower had a small leak that left a constant puddle on the floor. It looked like the water damage on the bathroom door had been there for a while, so this wasn't a new problem. Besides these very small points, everything was good and enjoyable.

Pros: Lovely family owned hotel with super rooms and beds . Plenty of sunbeds and a good pool . Very nice breakfast with everything you need . Loved to stay here and would do it again Great for very nice walks close by . Punta de piadade 1,5 km away . 20 min to go to downtown Lagos . 5 min in taxi back
